It'd be interesting to check on them when they reach 65...will they still be living on a boat? 🤔 I'm older now and I have had to slow down on my nomadic lifestyle. So I ask this question from experience. The hydraulic bed lifting system is just TOP! 💪🎯

I have been living in my motorhome since 2013 and I actually stopped using my cassette toilet I just go outside for #1 or if I'm at a campground or shopping centre or anywhere else I use public toilets. I very rarely stay at paid campsites. My only regret is that I didn't do it sooner.

Great set up and can do attitude, spent 9 months in our 1017 Mercedes overland truck loved building it and learnt a lot, that’s some impressive build you guys have there, happy travels for many years to come

Try a composting loo with mini extract fan. We have a separator toilet. Compoost. Absolute revelation after having cassette. Never smell the solids. Fluids can be disposed of mostly anywhere.

It’s all about a can do attitude 👍 great dog, when I was a child my terrier would follow me up the wooden ladder to eat grapes growing over top of the hen house, she’d also climb the big almond tree😊

Hi guys, what a great set up I really like your truck and is it a 4 wheel drive. Over here in Australia trucks are all the go. With your cassette toilet we have one but have a spare cassette but the other types of toilets which are called compass type now come with electric mixer on , instead of having to turn that rotten handle. Also they are not really composting toilets there just a mixing toilet which you empty out and put the waste in a plastic bag and look for someone’s skip to dump it. There is talk that that councils are going to stop this as skips aren’t made for dumping human waste and there no where near compost when there being dumped and there ending up in dustbins and all sorts of places. So hang on to your cassette for a bit longer and see what happens. Well we wish you a happy new year take care and think your lifestyle is fantastic😂😂 Jon 🇦🇺👋🏻👋🏻

Loving your videos as van life is very much something I'm considering, and the experiences of the folk in your vids is quite priceless, s thank you for doing what you do. A couple of things though, haven't been mentioned in the few vids I've watched so far. The first, is needing an address for the purpose of having a bank account. If you're of no fixed abode, where would they send any necessary mail? Is it not also an actual requirement for a bank account? The same question applies for NHS care. As I have a medical condition, how do the NHS contact you if you live in van? I love the idea of van life, but without answers to these kinds of questions, I couldn't actually hope to proceed. So,any response would be welcome. Meantime, keep up the good work!

With regards to toilet waste, I from memory saw a toilet that, for want of a better word, cooked the waste and all that was left was dry matter. I do believe that the couple were based in the US so maybe this appliance is not available here.

I’d love to live this life style but the one single question that keeps coming up for me is how do people get on with not having an address for things like bank, dvla, insurance etc? I know some use friends and family but what if you can’t do that. The whole system is geared so we can’t live free. Any advice please?

PO Box at around £40 a month or have your mail sent to a family or friends house. I'm registered at my parents house so I can still get all my post, register to things etc

I've been living in my motor home on and off since 2002, since 2019 me and the other half have lived in it full time, and we travelled to Europe but since brexit we have been restricted to 90days which sucks, we have no intention of living in a house ever again and we are both in our seventies, if we can do it anyone can but it isn't for everyone thank god

At a guess the young lady is 25 so not long until babies, typically 29 to 33, then the boat is out. For some reason, youngsters fail to understand the significant drive of biology, ovaries start to scream 😂
