Hueningkai's dad is white (German descent, Huening is a German surname) and his mom is Korean. Kai was born in Hawaii, then moved to China when he was still a baby, then moved to Korea at 7 years old I believe. So he's fluent in Korean, and he's pretty good at Mandarin and English (not 100% fluent though, I think). Also, his middle name "Kamal" means "perfection" in Arabic 😊

here’s just some extra info :) if they had positions yeonjun would most likely be the main rapper (and dancer) because he raps the most. taehyun would likely be main vocal because he usually does the adlibs and choruses. since they don’t have positions they all have the capability to do everything tho so I think it’s really nice this way. if you want to dive into TU (txt universe) nap of a star (which you’ve seen ofc) is the first video followed by magic island, the eternity concept trailer and eternally (you must react to a lyric video as well because the structure of eternally is entirely insane and the mv breaks up the song and it isn’t the full thing, same with magic island). I could be missing a few concept vids, not sure, but these are the very important ones. Also yeonjun and hyuka are pretty fluent in English and the others are not but they’re getting there, they can understand decently well from what I’ve seen. And as you can probably tell they all share one braincell which belongs to taehyun, aka the second maknae aka the mature member aka the *cough* “normal” *cough* one.
