In today's video we have a bit of a return to form to my older more quick-fire style of content where we go over a summarized version of all the major changes coming with Episode: Echoes Act II.

Had quite a bit of fun editing this one since I hadn't done it in a while, and I thought I would go back to my roots as a creator! In this video I try my best to explain concisely and in as much detail as possible the newly released information on the changes to the game coming in Act II later next week. The biggest thing by far has to be the BUFFS, yes BUFFS to Still Hunt (albeit indirectly) via the new row of Seasonal Artifact Perks. On top of that, quite a few nice QoL changes are inbound such as the removal of reserve swapping and the removal of PvE Sniper flinch and Adept Mod Stat penalties. Furthermore, 120rpm scouts are also receiving a nice 30% damage buff in PVE to bring them in line with other more popular primaries and Bungie are also making a new Wyvern unit that teleports and dodges! Shock horror! Anyway, please enjoy watching the video as much as I enjoyed making it :D

3:47 FUCKING BASED. GOD especially after playing other PVE shooters, especially ones with prominent hipfire, it's such a baffling decision as to why flinch is still so high in PVE with how add dense content has become

@@kenzilbaptiste2519yeah but flinch in snipers for pve has always been the most annoying shit. You are never running flinch reduction mods in pve so you are punished by being hit even by the most stupid of attacks. Dealing with some enemies becomes annoying as hell or sometimes borderline impossible in some content if you want to use a sniper rifle

I don't like the idea of Still hunt becoming even more busted but that is something that Bungie will inevitably assassinate once it has been in the game for a while like they always do, so for the time being Hunters will remain as the broken class for dps which honestly I couldn't care less about

They are doing a trial run for the new episode "batch" release in revenant. Based on feedback and their discretion Heresy may also get that type of release model, but it isn't guaranteed.

@@dmark_I've been using One Small Step because it's the only rapid fire shotgun in the kinetic slot that can roll with one-two punch. I'm glad to finally have another one that also has an origin trait.

@OmolonFluidDynamicsEnjoyer Those don't fix what's happening now though. They worked backward to build Prismatic Titan and nuked Titan Survivability. 2 supers don't matter if you can't survive long enough to use them.

@@The_Shenaniganizer Yes but they're adding/changing/buffing more things in the kit than those supers, we just need to wait and see what they do. I agree that prismatic titan needs more fundamental changes, but all we can do now is give feedback and suggest things we'd like to see changed/buffed.

@OmolonFluidDynamicsEnjoyer First off, I looked at your username, and it's great. Second, they are going to do exactly what they've been doing. Overtuning one Aspect or Keyword in Titans kit and then using that to justify a nerf when it gets used by everyone bc it's the most viable thing.

Weird choice of titan supers to buff. Not complaining, but it just has me worried they aren't listening to feedback. Thundercrash needs it 1000x more than twilight arsenal. Hope the hammer of sol buff is meaty though. Like honestly at least 50%.

Really all Thundercrash needs is buffing the damage without cuirass by 70%. Cuirass is a 100% increase over base so post change it would just be 30%, which would be fine considering you don’t need to work towards getting that buff

@@giantslayer9335 yep, I've been saying this for a long time. TC is one of the lowest damage supers in the game without exotics, and a large portion of the potential damage is made up by the incredibly inconsistent aftershocks. The only super that is worse is deadshot Goldie, as even melee roamings have utility in most places and can do more damage

@@iESCAP1SM you still lose out on dps given the sustaining options in the game and the fact that you cant freely use all 3 axes yourself without auto boss stomp + additional mechanic damage so it evens out Sometimes you can max dps, other times your teammates are going to have to pitch in by grabbing axes etc etc. dont know if i conveyed it properly but hopefully you get it

I know Bungie said "Threat Detector" when talking about Perfect Paradox, but I'm pretty sure the perk icon on the weapon was actually Threat Remover. Guess we'll see for ourselves when it comes out.

EV just needs a damage buff and a perk rework. It fires at the same rate as an adaptive sniper, but has unmanageable recoil, less range, nearly 4x less damage at base, way less forgiveness, and takes your exotic energy slot. They need to bump the base damage up by 20-30%, change the damage buff to promote a more involved gameplay loop that doesn't reset the perk on misses, and cut the kick up by 50-100%

Whisper has been a relevant strategy for a while now, it's a very decent weapon if you look at the Aegis weapon spreadsheets. It has high total damage and decent DPS. Sure there are weapons that do certain roles better than it, but it's by no means bad. You aren't going to shoot yourself in the foot by using it. Although it does benefit from a longer DPS phase.

IMO Thundercrash is the one that needs a buff to its damage AND accuracy. The hitbox was nerfed indirectly due to PVP which now lead to TC not able to directly hit certain bosses. That has to be fixed first. And the damage has to be worth it because you are literally placing yourself at the bosses feet after impact. And who cares if it is "too powerful" in PVP. Storm's Edge is already more effective and can be cast 3 times lol.

With the 120 solar scout, you're going to be engaging from a distance, probably close to sniper range...and as such youre also likely not going to be taking much damage, making heal clip pretty useless on it imo.

@@giantslayer9335 right on. I play all three characters but I’m not a major punchy titan and I find the slide consecrate builds so boring. Having health regen tied to melee can be a downer. Obviously orbs help but I almost prefer my void titan at the moment at least if we’re talking GMs and hard raid parts

Hilarious to me that theyre (from what I understand) buffing Twilight arsenal and hammer of sol, but not thundercrash. How did that happen?

Tbf when you're talking supers, Twilight Arsenal and Hammers are the most widely applicable supers on Titan. Supers like thundercrash are encounter design dependent, no matter how much damage it does some bosses just aren't easily meleed. This automatically hurts their relevancy regardless of if they do the most damage or not. At least with Twilight and hammers you can easily use them across all areas of the game without issue, making them decent contenders for the first round of buffs. Before twilight arsenal came along people like saltagreppo used hammers in day 1 raiding purely because it's *safe* damage. But yeah, thundercrash *needs* a damage boost desperately. Especially since the risk/reward doesn't add up at all with how close you have to get to the enemy. But I can see why it wasn't the first choice for an emergency PvE buff. Even if it needs it slightly more than other supers.

A "shiny" Edge Transit (double perks in column 3 and 4) could roll with Envious Assassin and Cascade Point in column 3. You can currently overflow the mag with EA and then swap to CP for damage, while the mag is still overflowed. This means you basically do not have to reload between mag-dumps, you just have to reproc CP when it runs out, but you'd be doing this to reproc Bait and Switch anyway. Bungie wants to make it so if you swap the perk EA to CP it loses the overflowed magazine. They have to write new code to make this work.

@@yellowflash_4547 Edge Transit drops from Onslaught which you can find in the Vanguard playlists. During the Into the Light event there was a way to increase the drop rate of a specific weapon. That's no longer the case, so even dropping the weapon you want is much less likely now.

Even having the best prismatic class, with the only other classes that can even compare being berserker and maybe nightstalker, titans have managed to get bungie to think they deserve buffs. Such a psyop in fact, that bungie is buffing the best burst super in the entire game...🤣🤣🤣

And they've acknowledged that it needs larger scale reworks. Those larger buffs and even reworks take longer to develop though, they aren't just something that takes a few weeks. These super buffs are just things that can be developed quickly and safely. Otherwise we'd be waiting a lot longer for the first wave of buffs.

It's just a damage perk in the 3rd column and then a choice of damage perk or add clear in the 4th. So you've got a slight damage boost for targets with a bit more health, and then add clear for rank and file targets. It's a nice combination if you aren't worried about stat enhancing perks in your 3rd column. And it's not a typical combination, at least on non-raid/dungeon/trials gear.

that was.... so short, almost too short lol, i was so ready to start skipping but... i didn't get time to do it lol ed: damn i forgot, GOOD thing they are reducing flinch, made me stop using snipers all together when i came back to the game bcs the flinch is absurd
