It's exactly nine months actually. Esme and Nikolas slept together at the beginning of last May.

Babies on soap operas seldom are born at the 9 month mark, and if they are, there's usually some other complication of sorts (because otherwise it wouldn't be dramatic enough for a soap opera, lol!).
