LNWR Webb Coal Tank

4 жыл бұрынA look at the preserved London & North Western Railway 0-6-2T Francis Webb Coal Tank 1054 / 58926. We see the locomotive in action during gala events at the Keighley & Worth Valley Railway on local passenger and freight trains, along with double heading with a host of locomotives. The locomotive is owned by the National Trust, but in the care of the Bahamas Locomotive Society, we see her between Ingrow and Damens double heading with fellow BLS locomotive Nunlow.
Back in 2012 we see the locomotive carrying BR livery on her visit to Llangollen Railway for 6880 Betton Grange groups Steam Steel & Stars III event.

Despite the fact I was unable to contribute towards the purchase of the Coal Tank, I am so thrilled she was saved, especially as she was the sole survivor, coming close , so close to being scrapped. I think it was a grand design. Other pundits may call her * basic* but that doesn’t worrit me in the slightest.

There's many different types of engines here but the only one that can remind me of the original Thomas before he was a J50 and a E2 was the LNWR Webb Coal Tank 1054
