Today is load shedding.
Load-shedding is a brutal, unapologetic middle finger to all South Africans, by the state owned energy company Eskom!
Scheduled power cuts to ease the strain on a poorly maintained power grid.
It comes in stages.
Stage 2 frees the grid of 2 Jizz-a-watts, Stage 3,3 Jizz-a-watts and so on.
Stage 8 is death to all.
We’ve lived through stage 6. It was not easy.
Today is stage 2. and 2 Jizz-a-watts equals about 5 hours without power.
This is unacceptable. Eskom is unacceptable.
In 2021 we humans use the internet to work. It seems Eskom does not know this.
Now I’m forced to use technology from 1955 to power the technology of 2021, just so I can work.
I want to work. I need to work. Bills and all that.
And even if I wanted to produce my own clean energy I’d be penalised for doing so.
That’s right, the Sheriff of electricity in this town is Eskom, and he’s a dick!
