Short clip on loading the M1917 Rifle. Unlike the U.S. Rifle, Caliber .30, Model 1903 which holds only five, .30-06 SPRG rounds in the internal box-magazine the M1917 actually holds 6 cartridges. This is due to the head space difference between the 303 British and the .30-06 SPRG within the magazine-well of a rifle that started out as the Pattern 1913 in .276 Enfield and the Pattern 1914 in .303 British. Dummy cartridges were used in this video.
