About Impress Taitu, she is the founder of Addis Ababa, she led the Adwa war against Italy among with her husband King Menelik in 1996 GC or 1888 Ethiopian calendar and won the war... 4. The traditional close that the shop owner said "Menen" is named after the wife of King Haileselassie. Her name is Etege or Impress Menen.

It appears the have a well developed textile industry which can be one of the game changers in their economic development. Looking forward to the next leg. BTW I never quite understood the meaning of grass on the floor?!

in Ethiopia we put grass to create a a nice vibe generally. if we are on celebration we put grass on the ground and guest feel good even the homies. so if you see habasha people putting grass on the floor there is some kind of celebration

Hi kish I don’t know why those womens shows you backward areas of Addis abeba. If you want to know Addis ababa, contact tourist office in addis ababa, they can show you different torust area in addis ababa with their car but you have to pay some money for service then it is easy to know about addis ababa with in one or two dayes.

He doesn’t like to go to museums, tourist spots or fancy places, and he doesn’t want tourism tour guides. He likes to go normal places such as markets, trying to learn about local life while getting to know the local people. It is just his personal preference and his way of exploring.
