Log Arch test with 3 heavy logs (testing my homemade log arch)

I made this log arch with a friend with a welding machine. We used only stuff we had laying around anyway: some old wheels from a harvesting machine, different sizes of metal scraps, and a handle from an old trailer. We tried to make it as solid as possible, but will it carry these heavy logs?
This log arch build is very inspired by the Logrite log arch and other builds from makers on KZfaq. I would like to mention Scott Wilsons log arch videos, Kris Harbour Natural Building and his log arch trailer, and Donn DIY and his log arch build. Thank you to Wanglerstar for inspiration too.

With the rise in lumber prices I can understand why you want to mill your own lumber. This arch should be perfect to hau big trees out of the woods. Well done!

If you can get the log on the balancing point it is amazing the size of logs you can move around with very little effort! Thanks for watching James!

Hello Jesper, A great logging machine from waste materials. I think the test is successful on 3 different logs. But it's like you have to use the tractor for 2 and 3 logs. Useful and practical. Hi Mehmet, thank you very much, I'm very surprised how heavy logs it can actually move around. These are fresh logs full of water, so quite heavy. The small wheels are the weak point., I'll be taking it into the forest soon and see how it goes. Thank you for watching.

I like your A-frame hoist, that's the best option if you have to make something from scratch in the forest. A good buscraft solution!

@@GumtreeHillWoodwork nice, I have about 10 acres (4 hectare) here, but bording up to forest, fields and water, so it feels like a lot.
