Nice. I like your setup, and your videos are great. Have you considered getting the log turner for the mill? Looks like you've gotten good at using the log clamp to help turn, and you're good with the peavey, the turner really comes in handy though. Keep up the good work, looking forward to more videos.

Thankyou, I have thought about getting the turner. But so far I’ve just been using the cant hook or peavey if I need it. And yes, the clamp does work quite well for turning cants for sure.

What size screws or nails did you use to put the plank on the posts. How did u attach the beam to the posts
@Plankmills11 ай бұрын
I used 4” screws, and fastened the top part through the top of the post part. But I should have used some 6” lumber screw or 10” through the top. But the 4” ones hold ok as long as I don’t tip it over. Haha

Nice log deck! I'm planning on building one similar to yours. What size are are your main rails, 8" X 8"? Your deck looks nice and sturdy...

I believe it is 8x8” Thankyou, the wood I used was pretty punky on the ends at the mill, so it’s gonna need some re-working at some point. But I like it pretty good so far, definitely saves a lot of getting on an off the loader.

No sound.

Yes I should have added some music. I guess I was too hasty with this one. And it is time lapse so that’s why there’s no sounds.
