LOGIC PRO X - Beat Breaker on Vocals

This week, I'm returning to Beat Breaker to make good on my promise to see how this plug-in might fare as a manipulator of vocals at the mix stage. I'll look at how to create new nodes within a pattern to create chopped sequences, show you what happens when we reverse or change the direction of travel for individual slices and let all chaos reign when adding Repeats.
We'll discover how Beat Breaker patterns can change as we manipulate the Length of a sequence, before adding other effects to further enhance how a pattern sounds. Remember that if you do all of this on a duplicate vocal track, you can make a whole new universe of sound to tuck in underneath the lead vocal.

@@jonobuchananmusic I don’t think any time is ever simple. Nor do I think we can meaningfully comprehend any “time”. Maybe the apparent complexity of any given time is just the ratio of comprehensible things to baffling things we currently hold in our mind of that time. I do think the more fleeting our attention is, the more complex things will seem. Understanding, which negates apparent complexity, takes time and effort. And can’t spend time and effort on everything. I also think there’s an easy analogy to make, as one renders complexity understandable, namely that anything else one doesn’t understand is equally arduous to make simple for oneself. *dial-up noises*

I have been looking for just this native effect to simulate broken radio communication. To date I've been using the free Audio Damage plugin (excellent by the way) with the Spectral Gate.

After beating my head against the wall trying to find this plugin, I found that not only did I need to update Logic, but I needed to update my Mac OS also. See you in a few hours!
