explain police: logitech g pro x has a problem when like the right ear speaker gets sucked in or whatever... and u hear it like -40% volume so kenneth here implies that his left ear enjoyed it because the right speaker is bugged.

I know I'm probably too late, but the blacksharks have problems with the hinges. They don't stay in place and slide down.

between those two and kraken pro v2 which one is better? i like punchy bass for explosions (i use realtek eq anyways) or some real headphone for the same price that you recommend?

Both have good punchy bass, you can adjust the bass EQ with the Ghub software..

Hands down the Alpha is sublime. Gaming straight wire its bass is controlled nothing washy or cheap about it. Picks up small field sounds with pin point focus which many phones just cant do. Movie watching just as adept. Audio buffs, it lacks midrange and the sound staging is slightly tight, plug in a small fiio or similar headphone amp between the source and this will give a touch more depth. Good buy? (no its a bargin) doubt many can match at this price. Build quality is battleship.

How loud is the Pro X? I had an issue where my old G35 was not loud enough when they changed the drivers to Logi Gaming Software. The sound got normalised and it lost around 25% of it's volume.

hyperx is more natural out of the box. logitech can produce the same sound but need to tweak the EQ little bit. i prefer hyperx tbh. but logitech is more clear.

Have been gaming on my HyperX Cloud Alpha S for 2 weeks since I've got mine; I have to say, they are quite amazing for gaming and music but I wouldn't say they're the best for eSports level gaming. pros: + comfortable! I barely even notice they're on my head + decent mic - I had some EQ troubles with mine sounding tinny, but I used some EQ APO software to fix that + 7.1 surround sound - makes sounds really POP, games like Modern Warfare, CSGO, SIEGE, Rising Storm 2, Battlefield really freaking bad ass sounding and pin-point footsteps/etc + removable mic + bass adjustment slider cons: - no official EQ software for stereo/7.1 and the bass/treble is pretty neutral on purpose, not saying the sound is terrible it's just missing that customization - you could probably find better sounding headphones than this for the same price (obviously since these are for gaming it has a built in mic, and the former would lack a mic) good buy, and good for semi-professional gaming/tryhards

I have the alpha s.. the problem with this headphone is the impedance is 65 ohm.. that make the sound not loud enough on my pc and the included usb soundcard did not help either.. so I bought a usb dac JCALLY JM6 (cost me only 7$).. the sound is good, loud, and I can still use the microphone because JM6 support a mic.. so hyperx, just ditch the usb soundcard please and make it cheaper.. but I still love my alpha s..

@@napaspetir1690 I ended up getting the logitech g pro x, which was a bad choice. I think you should got for the razer blackshark v2 without second thoughts because the hyperx alpha s sounds kinda bad when you are listening to music

The G Pro X is good, but I enjoyed the sound more from the Cloud Alpha S for music and stereo listening. I wish HyperX had better EQ software and softer velour earcups. The directional DTS on the G Pro X is slightly off, and the native HyperX directional sound screws with the levels too much.

It is very dynamic for games, you may need to tinker with the EQ so you don't damage your hearing trying to hear footsteps. It is a DTS headset, which is okay for spatial sound. If someone is directly behind you it sounds like they are literally inside your head.. I prefer Dolby Atmos.

from my experience, in cod mw, BFV and Apex Legends, using Alpha S with 7.1 on is better in term of hearing and pinpoint the direction and will be able to measure how far the gunfight easier than G Pro X. basically you can feel the range of sound is significantly wider than G Pro X butttttt...... G Pro produces a heavier sound when compare to the Alpha s. dont get me wrong here both are good but it's kindda personal preference here. if you want to hear everything is surrounding you, pick Alpha. If you want something that easy to hear and clear like normal stereo headset but better quality of sound and mic, go for G Pro X you wont be disappointed. my pref will be alpha s due to I can easily measure the distance more accurate and with very low pressure and heat around my ear cuffs. even you dont have a chance to try both, pick whatever you want, both are great. I just love gaming battleroyal type all day and alpha s gives me more benefits

Probably late but black shark v2 had a lotta problems with its hinge and build quality so I suggest picking up the Logitech G Pro X or G pro

Great question, I compared the frequency response chart shown on SoundGuys and they are similar (though the Cloud Alpha S has multiple charts due to the vent options and surround sound). The most accurate option is vents open and surround on on the HyperX. The Logitech headset dips in the highs a bit, so I feel with the correct setup the HyperX has a flatter more accute sound.

I actually have owned both, The Corsair Void Elite WIRED has less squeeze on the head and is more comfortable in my opinion, it's also half of the price of the Logitech G Pro X. I don't recommend the Corsair Void Elite WIRELESS because the mic is soft even when on high in the iCue software.

I only play battle royal games, so far Alpha S is very beneficial, turn on 7.1 and get use to it fast. it helps you a ton of measuring distance and clearly hear things around you but if you just love a heavier sound like stereo headset's style G Pro X will be your choice. you wont be disappointed in both ;)

It doesn't need software to work properly, it's the Ngenuity app from the Windows store. It doesn't have many features at this moment, so it is negligible.

Note: Even though the HyperX Cloud Alpha S doesn't have DTS/DD the 7.1 button (when activated) does work enable Dobly Digital sound in Modern Warfare. But I wouldn't use 7.1 for normal music.

@@jiris5709 Probably not. Most likely works better on PC. They will sound great or just fine. They come with 2 ear pads. Cloth velour makes them open and the leatherette is more closed Depending how you like to feel more isolated with the ear cups

HyperX is pretty good. I would have to say get new ear pads if your going with these. HM5 brainwaves are good but the Cloth are fine ( cloth moves around sometimes) . Personally i got Velour earpads and these are really nice! Comfy but have a little weight to them. Good build quality but the Bass sliders are more of a Bass lower settings or a fast EQ. And for this price at 130$ my Audio Technica M40's sound way better at 100$. But the mic is super convenient and nice! (Also Logitech's Surround is hella good i've used the G933's in the past and the surround was godly)

Love how he describes the negatives as kind of a bummer 😂 I've had both headsets and I would always go with the logitech as the sound is better and blue voice. Hyper x alpha cloud s is to quiet
