Thank you. My mouse had been misbehaving to the point where I was about to throw it away, reverting back to a much lower quality Dell mouse which originally came with my PC. I didn't do the whole wash thing but your video showed me where the screws were to partially disassemble it and to brush out collected dirt. It now works. I avoid using KZfaq as much as possible (it has become contaminated with ads now that they've found a way around Adblocker) but this has been worth the anger it generates in me. Thanks again.

so that's where the extra screws were hidden. still didn't help with my mouse click issue, but, at least I know more now than before. thank you.

@@tuverytary cleaning my mouse fixed it for a few weeks. but I eventually just had to get a new one. I tried cleaning it a second time but it was already pretty clean and still giving me issues.

Your instruction is helpful, but your camera should be on close-up, with strong, but diffuse lighting. With specific screw locations, and small mouse parts molded in black-on-black plastic, showing the location and orientation is vital.

To be honest I wish I had more than one camera so it would be easier to have closeups and the larger picture at the same time.

@@bobgreene2892 multi camera setup would also come with downsides, as I don't have infinite time I need to make the videos easily editable, and having multiple video streams to cut into the video would mean that the workflow of getting a video out would be easily double what it is currently. The only way to get it to the point that I can do the video in a reasonable time is to get 2 cameras and have a capture cards that allow me to input video from the cameras so that I can composite them in OBS while having a monitor that allows me to see what im doing. Current setup does not have that at all, but I'm working on getting such a setup at some point. Like with everything, there are upsides and downsides to things.
