Last week we had a lovely Pepper White Generation 3 F56 MINI Cooper S in the building for a Manic Motorsport Ltd Stage 1 Remap.
This had NGK Spark Plugs, Induction kit and decat pipe taking it from 221BHP / 361.6Nm to 273.5BHP / 440.8Nm.
These B48 MINI engines do run hot and with a performance intercooler easily would have hit 280bhp+
A stage 2 Manic Motorsport remap at Lohen would send your MINI F56 Cooper S to over 300bhp and roughly 470Nm of torque.

Can the stock internals cope with that much torque? And what about gearbox? I read somewhere about a 400nm limit on the manual box.

The torque is not a problem. At somepoint the clutch may slip but we offer performance clutch solutions that are fine for 500+ Nm of torque.

Is there a way to get flames without decat? (Maybe 200 cell Downpipe?)

No, for regular flames you need a decat. If your flaming whilst you still have a cat, you will slowly just destroy your cat.

If the owner was to add an intercooler after the map would they see the power increase without returning to be re done?

Yes, you would not need to come back for a new map

It’s mine, and with an intercooler on the same Dyno it made 285bhp 👍🏻

Dustin Jahn I no longer own the car unfortunately. I didn’t have any problems with the car throughout my ownership though. The manic map was great.

Do spark plugs have anything to do with the performance of this vehicle?

Not directly in regards to bhp results. But performance spark plugs help an engine run more safely.

Lohen that’s true .. I broke my engine because of spark plug failure !!! It broke in the cylinder

David, at the moment Stage 1 seems to be okay on the stock clutch
