In this video, Sinead, a tour guide with Free Tours by Foot, takes you on a walking tour from Tower Bridge to the London Eye. MORE LONDON WALKS - • Playlist .
This London night tour begins at sunset from Tower Bridge to watch the sunset over London before moving on along the south bank of the River Thames, through the Borough Market area to London Bridge.
Next, Sinead takes you past Shakespeare's Globe Theater to Millennium Bridge to see St. Paul's Cathedral.
Finally, you will check out the scene at the South Bank Center and ending at the London Eye. Along the way are lots of people watching, nightlife, buskers, and more. So grab a pint or a glass of wine and spend the night out in London Town.

I have been binging your videos. I am in the states and I can't comprehend being surrounded by so much history. Here, everything is so new and uninteresting...not much history anywhere. Also, I can't believe how clean this city is. No trash, no beggars, no sketchy looking ppl. Amazing!

London looks beautiful by night. All sparkling and shiny. I guess it’s the romantic in me, but I so wish that more of the really old buildings had survived. To know that the city itself is so old. Truly breathtaking.

Wow! Great tour, Sinead. I loved the glimpse of Southwark Cathedral - one of my fave places in London. I had the pleasure of making pals with Doorkins the cathedral cat there, in 2019. She's no longer with us, sadly, but they now have a new cat. Hopefully, I can get to know him. I also did a Tower Bridge tour whilst there and got great pics of the bridge opening. Many fond memories. Also of the Hay Market and the massive sculpture within. Thanks for bringing it all back. Cheers 😉👍

I love this South Bank walk. Done it so many times on our visits to London. I do think Southwark Bridge looks so amazing at night with the purple lighting. Blackfriars station always is truly amazing being right in the middle of the river. The National Theatre is an amazing concrete structure that is well worth a visit, just to see the architecture of the 60s.

Iv walked across the Bridges, seen many if the sights by the river Thames, been on the London Eye three times, but one never tire of seeing them all again because there is always something new and different about each experiance. I enjoyed this commentry today by the tour guide. Thanks.

Excellent tour. When I was in London 4 years ago, when I walked on the Millenium Bridge, I was so excited since I had watched all the Harry Potter movies I almost cried that I was actually in London. And the fact that your face St. Paul’s made it so special.

The first 50 times I saw the "walkie-talkie" building, I thought it was just too awkward and funky looking. But all of a sudden, I kind of like it. It is so unique---yeah, it's still weird---but it's like a quirky friend. I have no idea why an architect would design something so odd, but I guess that is a big part of its charm. I do like it. Sinead, you had a beautiful evening for your tour!

I agree with Anna. Thank-You for all your videos. This one is beautiful. London at night. Love the 360 view starting at 48: to 51:38. The Globe Theatre at night is very beautiful. I thought it amazing that it took an American, to build it. Mr Sam Wanamaker was a great actor and lovely,kind and generous man. Again thank you for all the videos.

Thanks Sinead you definitely have two new fans from across the world here in ‘Australia’. We can’t wait to get over there and get cracking on a few of your tours that we have penciled in to do. We usually stay in West London and have been to and through the huge West Brompton Cemetery a few times (I know that some tourists might find this all slightly macabre) however there are some very famous people interred there (and indeed other similar metropolitan facilities) and many fascinating stories to be told of some of its occupants. Just a suggestion, albeit a little ‘left field’ however an extremely fascinating source of stories and interesting area.

Hi i have been travelling to london from manchester for my medical treatment since 1982 sometimes private sometimes NHS these days UCH west morland street , we generally travel only for the day ,unless i am admitted , because we have siamese cats only 2 but they are diabetic and need insulin twice a day , so cat minding is not an option ,but i had a private ambulance took me on a tour of london after a ct scan on Harley st .a long time ago . i am loving your walks , i can remember looking out of the hospital windows and seeing life going on and feeling lost and lonely , but watching your walks is putting everything in place , thank you so much , a great walk i felt as though i was with you , my love liz xx

My friend and I took my differently abled daughter on a private tour with Sinead along the South Bank. We had an amazing time!! Sinead is quite the historian!!! She is so very accommodating, helping us push and navigate the wheelchair, making sure our path was free of any inaccessibility, even made sure we could safely get back to our hotel!! We had a blast and learned so much about the history of the area. If you have a chance to attend any of her tours she will not disappoint!! And if you are lucky enough to take a private tour you are in store for a wonderful evening. You will learn about London and it’s history while having a marvelous time.

Thank you so much for your wonderful free tours and delightful narration! I used to be an avid traveller but I am now bedridden with progressing multiple sclerosis. I can’t even sit up in a wheelchair. I can’t tell you what a gap you have filled for me! Maybe I will never be able to take one of your tours in person, but my daughter and family are huge fans as well and do plan on traveling one day if times improve. I know you will rank at the top of their list. I wanted to add that your little tidbits of historic - even in seemingly modern areas of London- really make all the difference for us. We are of English heritage (15th cousin to the queen, according to the genweb and a book we have of American royal bloodlines), and huge fans of English (and European) history. My son has a history degree, while my daughter is the manager of a pirate show in St Augustine, which Sur Francis Drake burned in the 1560s. That’s our hometown and we love living with history around every corner, but we are new construction when compared to some of the gems you folks have over there! Please continue to incorporate any historic tidbits in your tours. Blessings from Florida, USA!

I got so involved in this walk we have just come back from London after a week there and did this walk most nights p,s, I met your soldier busker just before lockdown well done keep it up learnt more today watching you on youtube, than we did actually walking it lol
