It's such a pleasure going on this trip with u. I live in Mumbai and can fully identify with the ethos of this place. Pali Hill is my fav hang-out here. Please keep doing this. It's so informative and fun at the same time. The 'assorted menu' and welcoming staff make it worthwhile. And of course, your presentation is the proverbial icing on the cake. Take care n stay blessed.

Dwelling a bit more on each dish & briefly explaining ingredients/textures would be appreciated. I was not familiar with several of the dishes today. Also which dishes pair well, the order of eating them, etc. This looked like a tapas meal to me - many smaller dishes to be shared - perhaps I’m wrong? I am fondly brought back by your new series to the excellent vegetarian Indian restaurant, with the best paratha I’ve ever had, which I experienced while visiting London as an American college student on a hostel holiday in 1971 (gasp)! Can’t recall its name or neighborhood, but it was magical.

I understand what your point is but explaining each dish will not be that interesting to all and will make this very long. All the dishes I have tried in the restaurants are on my channel, if you just search you can find those dishes and try them

@@FoodwithChetnaI also understand your point, but a bit more of an explanation would be good, many people are not knowledgeable in anything except a few curry dishes,so they are missing out on terrific food.I do know a lot about foods from different areas of India,Pakistan, and Bangladesh, but I’m still interested in your thoughts on the not so main stream foods. Many people don’t have a clue what a dosa is,you could say it’s a crisp lentil pancake often stuffed with potatoes, something like that,so they know that it isn’t so different.Anyway I like this new series,so thank you.

Ma'am I hope you try Ealing if you are looking for the best Indian Restaurant in London. When I lived there they had an abundance of choice, all fab in my opinion. It's been 4 decades since I was there, I hope they all still exist.

I don't know if it's still there, but the Ealing Tandoori in the High Street was where, over 50 years ago, I had my first Indian meal. I remember I had Lamb Bhuna, Mushroom Bhaji and Pilau Rice. Every Indian meal, ever since, has, in some ways, been an attempt to recapture the magical taste of that first meal 😍 The one place I can think of right now that possibly surpassed it was "Chandhi Chowk" in Southall, where, in 2016, I had a Paneer Mumtazi, which, evidently, used angels dancing on my tongue to achieve its mind blowing effect 😉

@@carlcaulkett3050 When you say the High Street, do you mean towards the public library Walpole Library on the corner of Mattock lane? I used to eat on the Mall, where the Nat West bank was is where the toy shop was there was the Clay Oven & Monty's & maybe an Ealing Tandoori. Plus up by North Ealing station, the parade I think it was called. I used to eat Phal, Vindaloo & bhunas. It has been too long.

@@susanford2388yes, about half way down the street that leads to the Green and Mattock Lane. I remember Monti’s, that was a Nepalese restaurant. You were brave having phalls -I’ve never gone beyond a Vindaloo 😉

@@carlcaulkett3050 I grew up in Ealing & ate bhuna's then madras & then vindaloo & at the Clay Oven I ate 4 phals, two blew my mind & I reversed to Korma. Now I eat butter chicken, all very sedate now. Yes, Monty's was indeed Napalese. Wow. I love this going down memory lane. It has been 4 decades since I was there. Ealing is, I am sure, still a great place to get a good curry.
