Hi John I don't know the older gentleman's name ( I call him Percy) who is an ex Guard. I had hoped they had tucked him in behind the shop when it chucked down. They had! Yay! Saw him come out dry after. It would be marvellous if you could interview him. Imagine the stories he could tell, the knowledge. Anyways appreciate you even more on the cruddy days!

The was a garden party at the palace hosted by The Prince of Wales(minus The Princess of Wales) at Buckingham Palace. It was on our news here in Western Australia and it was pouring down the entire time.

I would love to see our "Viking" police officer partnered with the great female police officer who clearly loves the horses, is very helpful but also very firm when it is required. They're always fully on point in the yard and out the front.

Sometimes the tourists look like a tidal wave 🌊 as they roll across the yard to get to the pavement. And still they come, not worried about the other people. Thor stand his ground, bless him, you can almost hear him think "what!!'

Hi John, Sincere thanks for your superb filming at Our King's Royal Guards. I am an elderly lady from Perth, Western Australia, who would really love to see NO touching of the Trooper horses. By painting a large WHITE line out from either side of each guard box to the Bollards. This would help to keep the Trooper horses calmer when so many disrespectful tourists, who all have different smells and vibes for the Trooper horses having to put up with. These Troopers are WORKING, and despite many having contrary viewpoints, this area, I believe is NOT for entertainment. I guess Monty is having a well earned break after his wonderful win in the Princess Elizabeth Cup, which I enjoyed watching your podcast. Oh I would have loved my dear old Dad to have been around there today, he was a Sgt in the Grn Guards during WW2 and boy did he have shout on him, I think he could have cleared the yard and the front of any misbehaving twerps 🤣🤣 He never shouted at me a look was enough 🤨 but on hearing me once whilst watching me play netball ( I know tame) he asked me if I thought I was him 🤣 an honour I thought but I couldn't handle the crush of London at all. Foolish way to deal, or rather not deal, with big crowds. Something awful will have to happen before they figure out a way to control the massive amount of people flooding in and out, endangering the well-being of each other, the guards, and the horses.

Lol my son on monday said you won't believe what happened. It poured only at the career center where he is taking general automotive 2nd year. His truck is outside and he was working under the hood and said it it started to pour rain for 10 minutes, no clouds. He had to grab tools and stuff and shut the hood and got soaked. Lol told him don't worry just dad's little black cloud found him😂. Incidently he won top mechanic and his own tools! We are very proud of him. Yeah shiny nails has a name! Hello Ransom!! Whata trooper you are. Haha tourist repellant spray! It looks like Ransom is trying to talk to that group of kids. Defiantly showed a interest in them. The lady Guard does look amazing in her uniform, I had a friend who was 6ft when I joined the WRAC ( Womens Royal Army Corp.) in the late 70's she towered over all of us and although most of us loved our uniform she hated hers due to being too tight too short in arms etc, she was a lovely girl. How times have changed and all for the good 😊❤️

I feel so sorry for everyone when it is like this for them, we had torrential rain here to but we didn't need to go out. Like the lady gates woman she takes no prisoners. I am always glad of my waterproofs. What a beauty Ransom is, glad to see Thor again. Who chooses the horses names do you know John? Ransom is not amused at all, he wants to go in. The brollies are not exactly good for the horses they are very nervous of them. Bad rain never keeps us in, we have been drenched many times through waterproofs as well.
