He seasoned the chicken with Swine Life's Mississippi Grind and the pork butt with John Henry's Pecan Rub & a bourbon brown sugar mop sauce. Thanks Mark, I really appreciate it. Historically I was gaining 100 subs every 2-months & I figured that I’d reach 1000 by November. However in February I noticed that it started to grow twice as fast. Not wanting to get ahead of myself, I started to think that I might reach 1000 subs by the 4th of July. I have to admit that I was checking a lot yesterday when I got to 999 LOL & then Derek let me know that he was my 1000th sub.... very cool & humbling. The entire venture into BBQ & the channel were things that I never envisioned for myself. Thanks again for your support throughout.

Yeah, I started using Mayo after hearing or reading Meathead from Amazing Ribs talk about it. It makes sense to me.

My wife's same in regards heat, things I find mild at best and finds spicy. She grew up with hottest spice used was black pepper. Looks good

Great job , I will have to try a whole chicken an my LSG, I have never done one yet, I just got some rubs from Heath Riles BBQ, they are supposed to be really good.

Great job. It's been awhile since I've cooked a whole chicken. I usually spatchcock. I saw those heaven made products rub on your counter. How do you like them? I've been thinking of trying some of them. I first saw them on Dski Grillz's channel.

Hi Wayne... I haven't tried my Heaven Made rubs yet, I plan to try them on spare ribs & on a brisket. I've seen them in a number of KZfaq videos including T-Roy's channel.
