Recently i found myself surrounded by the beautifully rugged South Devon coastline, with its deep grey slate, beautiful pink rocks and a smattering of deepest green hued boulders that look so out of place amongst the rest.
As I was with in the eye of a fast-approaching storm swell, I took my chance at some coastline photography.
Long Exposure photography in and around a storm front is such an enjoyable thing to do. But with a strong head wing and a race against the tide, you certainly must move fast when exploring to find compositions.
With the wind knocking my gear all over the place and even managing to roll my camera bag full of gear towards a rather deep rock pool, it didn't take me long to figure out i was being a little unwise in my endeavour to both film and photograph this coastline.
So, after grabbing a hand full of images, i made my way to safety. I felt glad that i could put together a small vlog for you to enjoy on this stormy day in the West Country.
