Even if it wasn't said in the title seeing the strap button location and curve of the body already knew it was a Spector NS body. If it's a little hot for the amp check the control cavity for a trim pot on the preamp you can dial it back turning it counter clockwise .. I have a violet burst euro 5 lt with a tone pump and emg dc40 humbuckers love the bass my favorite. Also love my old q4 pro with a 18 volt darkglass tone capsule and my spector rebop 5 dlx zebrawood with a emg bqc

I have an NS2000/5 with an EMG BQC pre and 40DC/40CS pups. Its a Korean bass that absolutely growls.

There are some Euros out there that are gnarly as hell, I had one I wished I never let go. Was a 435LX and it was the best I had ever heard from that line.

God damn. I suspect that Aaron Mills used one of these on Ms. Jackson and other Outkast tracks. Either that, or a different NS2 style Spector bass, one with the active PJ setup and a neck-through construction. That sound is so distinct. I love it. If anyone knows for sure what he used, please let me know

I had the same Bass. With a slightly different headstock. It was a Warwick Streamer Stage I. No matter who copied who (Warwick did...), the bass was killer. The EMG P/J set together with the cut/boost preamp made that girl sing and growl.

Hey Johnny, in your opinion what are the pros and cons of the reverse precision pickup? I'm planning on a custom build soon and debating whether I should go "normal P" (EA coil ahead of DG coil) or "Reverse P".

Just played a Euro today in the local music store. These basses are beyond every other brand! Perfect crafted, perfect tone, perfect look. These basses are just perfect. Better than any Warwick, Fodera, Ritter or other gay brands
