Does Aunt JoAnne and Pawpaw watch your channel and explain the reasons behind the land they own? And why they haven’t passed on some their land to their kids?

I do not know how anybody else feels, but I am so proud of all you and Jamie have accomplished.

Lester, I have the hardest time understanding how some are so bothered by someone else’s happiness. I also can’t imagine these same people being ok with having to explain their personal choices or accepting others opinions on what they should be doing with the money they EARN themselves. It’s just gross to see the false entitlement people perceive they have when it comes to their personal opinions. You are a grown man and you are absolutely allowed to follow your dreams. I can't remember exactly when I started watching your channel/page, but I remember what you went home to after Harvey. You put your heart and soul into getting a place for your animals. It was nothing short of a miracle you were able to nail, screw, and glue ISS together. There were times it didn't look pretty, but you made use of what you had. Most importantly you made a home for your babies. As time went on some things were replaced and repaired and new additions were put in. You and Jami have always put the animals first. You are amazing, loving caregivers. Don't ever let anyone sell you short on your accomplishments. Thank God for LHL. If it had not been there what would have happened to the babies? People need to give credit when and where it's due. Your strengths and your struggles have made you what you are today. You’ve made improvements at ISS as well with the barns, the fencing (some of which benefited Paw Paw), the garage, the pond area and even your home. That’s upgraded the value of all of Morrow Hill.

Obviously, they have not been following IMA Survivor Sanctuary very long. That property has seen many wonderful changes, additions, and improvements. It’s beautiful and we’re very proud of you, Lester, and the Sanctuary! You can also be very proud of Longhorn Lester’s, too!

LL is truly stunning! ISS is so beautiful too! After seeing all the trees at LL, and how much cooler it is there, it would be lovely if you could add a few more trees to the pastures at ISS. Purely to help reduce the heat factor and give the babies more shade options if you should ever experience future droughts. I did not realize that the ISS property doesn’t belong to you and yet you’ve invested so much time energy money and resources, rebuilding and making the sanctuary so very beautiful! You’ve done such a good job and have been a faithful steward of the gifts God has given you!

I think you’ve made some awesome improvements at IMA Survivor Sanctuary considering it’s not your deeded property. Just look at the water system, the fences just for a couple projects. You can be proud of both properties ❤️

Your goats are looking so much better. They’ve lost weight, are more active and just look better and seem happier. Even Ringo seems to be in less pain and more active. He’s not walking on his knees as much. Best idea you’ve had moving them to LHL.

Since I've been watching you you took that little Barn that had stalls without a roof and made it into your primary Barn. You created that big horse barn and then the Little's Barn not to mention the updating of the little guest house that you made. You have invested so much time and work and love and in energy to everything you do. I'm quite partial to longhorn lesters for several of those reasons you mentioned but also topographically it is delicious. I wish people's comments would not hurt you because they are savages and they're not going to stop. You are a better person than I am because I would have called it after the first one or two! I think you used a lot of wisdom financially in your decisions and it shows Lester. You are fortunate that your dad provided you with a place where you would always have a home taking that worry that many have away. It gave you a security where you could go from there, that starting place, to make your way where you choose to. Investing in LHL was a smart decision to have your own place by the sweat of your brow. Many would have taken their money and had nothing of value to show for it. You and Jami have done amazing for yourselves and your kids. While at the same time making the best use possible of the land you were provided to have a home on. ISS is an amazing use of the property and your animals are a testament to that. You SHOULD be very proud of yourself and Jami as well. You guys work well together. It's crazy that outsiders feel they have any say in the Morrow family dynamics. All we KNOW about all of you is what we see on video. Your family, everyone, is amazing. I love all of your family. But I also recognize that we see minutes of a day, for all of you. Lester, I had a similar situation with my family's farm... my Dad chose to leave his property to all of his children equally, knowing that it would be a mess to sort out. And believe me it did turn out to be a big mess. Lots of drama and hurt feelings all the way around. So I get it.... So proud of what you have built at LHL. It is Beautiful, but ISS is also beautiful from all the work you have done there as well! You and Jami make such a great team!

I totally understand about LHL is yours that you worked hard for it... and look at Tex and his family...no holes being dug, no saliva dripping from his mouth, so heart wrenching bellows, no anger. What I have noticed since you have moved the LongHorn’s, ostriches and goats over to LHL’s, is how peaceful and content the animals seem. Yes there is a drought, and times are much tougher/rougher than before, but to see the tranquility in the animals and in you and Jamie has shown what a gift LHL’s has been for you all.

So proud of what you have done. I have never seen a person so dedicated and working so hard to build their dream. I'm a teacher in South Africa and know how little time you have for yourself, but you still put in all those extra hours to share your dream with us on video. Thank you so much.

You bought a beautiful land, and what you have already done at LHL’s has made this place even more beautiful. All the animals love it there, and obviously their humans too. Just look at the cats … they have decided the stone pillars are perfect for miniature sphinxes 😉 I totally understand the difference of having a place to live, vs OWNING a place where you can live. 20 yrs ago I had no idea how much it actually matters to have your name on a piece of paper where it states that you are the legitimate owner of the place where you live. Until that time I would have laughed at the idea that it mattered, but I will never forget the feeling that engulfed me when I got those papers. First off, I'd like to say that everything you have at both ISS and LHL is safe and comfortable for your family and the animals. There is absolutely nothing wrong with either place. I will say I favor LHL for it's over all beauty, and serenity. I totally understand your thoughts and feelings about both properties. As far as your future plans at LHL, that beautiful overlook that would be a perfect homesite should be for you and Jami, by all rights. I am saddened that people can't just enjoy being part your life story through these videos without have to feel they have a say, or criticize anything and everything. My parting words are the last part of this video with the two cats relaxing and looking over their forever home. I think you should take a lesson from them and go lay back in your hammock and take in your piece of Heaven.

I feel you’ve accomplished a lot at ISS. You’ve improved it since Harvey blew through it and pretty well started over. You’ve fixed fences that don’t belong to you, you’ve maintained the property as well as built a second home and an apartment in your barn before that. Plus you’ve found a wonderful partner that loves you. On top of all that you have given a home to all the babies and you’ve shared all that with us. I understand how you feel about LHL. Dad always said the house and property they had would be sold and divided between the 4 of us kids. 1 got his early so he had a place to go. Dad passed and Mom was already sick so the rest of the property was sold to pay for her future funeral. She is in a nursing home now. I moved in to care for them in 2001, left in 2015 due to my own health. Us kids to care of everything until 2020. 2 of us got nothing. But I’m ok with that now. So have pride about what you’ve accomplished. ♥️❤️🥰♥️❤️

Whoever said that to you has not watched you for very long at Ima survivor. When I saw your farm from Harvey till now you have done so much to improve that farm. From fencing to barns to planting trees and beautifying. They each have their own beauty and are very different. You should be proud at what you have done to both. 😍🥰

My only advice with the home site you pointed out is to make sure to not build too close to the ledge, and to reinforce about 10 feet into the ground when you do build. I have seen too many ledges fail, the houses on them crashing down the new embankment. I plan on following your channels as long as you have them, you bring hope to a lot of people, me included! As for ISS (I smile every time I see that abbreviation because it also reminds me of the international space station lol!), you have done a metric butt ton of work there! I started watching you guys after the barndominium, and after your house was rebuilt. I watched you guys build the horse barn, and Littles barn. Watched you fix all those fences and the pond. I would say that you have put just as much into ISS as you have LHL. Can’t wait to see what else you build! 😁

Even if you were my children, I couldn't be more proud of you and Jami for what you have accomplished. The world needs more wonderful hard working people like you two. You have worked so hard to fulfilled your dream and no one can take that away. My stepfather sold his house and land to my brother and me, for $1.00 long before he died. He also paid the taxes each year. All that he wanted was to live there. That was done out of love.

If they gave 5 acres to each of us, where would they have gone? After my mom passed, my dad did add us children to the deed but the land was his until he passed and we knew it! You don't owe an explanation to anybody this is your life your decisions and this is something that you've done on your own and honestly longhorn lesters is a completely different type of property than I'm a survivor sanctuary you should be proud of everything you've done especially on your own with no help from your dad not that I'm saying you aren't grateful for what he's let you do there but this is your project your goal and you've done an amazing job don't let anybody tell you different or that you should have done it differently you did it exactly how you wanted and that's all that matters and you put your heart and soul into it!!!

If I were in your place I would be very proud of everything that has been accomplished with LHL and ISS. The new place is yours, you've worked your a$$ hard to get it to the place it's at, peaceful and beautiful. An excellent place to grow old with Jami in due time. There will always be the ones who think they look good by putting others down, by bringing all the negativity they can or know more than anyone else. You and Jami have done very well. We only see a very minute portion of all you guys do. It's your work, your sweat & blood that is what matters. We who follow you should feel a bit privileged to see as much as we do of the efforts you are putting in to building a future for your family.

Lester what you and Jami have achieved in quite a short space of time at LHL's is incredible considering at the same time you were also running ISS. You deserve to own and have pride in your own property. The sad thing is when an estate goes to probate it's an expensive, complicated business and the family loses out, I do hope your dad makes a will for all his childrens sake.

Hey Lester. I appreciate I'mma Survivor Sanctuary but "LONG HORN LESTERS" is my favorite. I really like the lake because I like to fish. The land and shade trees are beautiful. The animals seem happier with more land to gorge and roam. GOD BLESS THE CHILD THAT HAS HIS OWN. GOD BLESS YOU AND JAMI.

Everything you makes sense. It’s like owning and renting. When you own it gives you a huge sense of freedom and stability. Everyone wants to have that sense of security and pride, sense of accomplishment, to fulfilled and content💖

There is Pride in ownership! LHL is yours! You busted your ass to make that dream come true! This is yours and you have every right to be proud! Hold your head high Lester. You didn’t turn your back on ISS. Your there every day and you will always be there for the sanctuary. It also holds so much of your life. Where you raised your boys, where you turned a tragedy into a life saving haven for animals! That also is a home to be proud of, as you are. You have every right to keep moving forward, it is for you, your family, and all the animals. I admire you and all you have accomplished..

Why do people care what land you have your animals on. Y'all's hearts are still the same. What y'all stand for is the same. LH and ISS are beautiful in different ways but LH is yours. Which makes a huge difference.. And I totally get where you are coming from because I too rented a house from my parents but then decided to buy my own home so I could do what I wanted with it. You and Jami are awesome!!! First and foremost, y'all are so thoughtful about your sons and their future. Then y'all's love and concerns for the animals is amazing.
