don't know much about st. vincent, know a lot about albini. that being said, this cover does more than justice to the original, it's refreshing to hear it being treated so well. pay no mind to the albini purists ripping on it, some of them are probably 17 years old and found out about him two months ago anyway.

St. Vincent can totally shred. See her live. Her songs are sort of like beautiful birds being murdered--or murdering. They're acid and sweet at the same time.

She's like a female, now stay with me here, Jeff Buckley. Extremely well manered in her craft of song writing. But MOSTLY in the fact she has like 5 different bands that back her up depending on her mood.

I love annie so much, she's amazing.. but what I also love is how the crowd is just standing around in the begining but then by the end they're kinda moshing.
