There’s an excellent movie about Loretta’s life also titled Coal Miner’s Daughter. It was nominated for seven Academy Awards, including Best Picture. Sissy Spacik won Best Actress for her portrayal of Loretta. Loretta Lynn encouraged the filmmakers to let Sissy do all her own singing, and helped her learn to sing, and play guitar, in her style. Worth watching❤️❤️❤️

So many of the earlier country stars (like loretta) grew up really poor. They went through such poor times but just accepted them as normal. This gives them such a history to fall back on.
