Margaret's mom's name is Jennifer. She was murdered July 25, 2006. The person that murdered her was caught and has been given the death penalty (in 2009) and is awaiting execution.

The murderer was first handed a 10 year sentence for r***, and he murderer her mom after being released. After his 1st time in jail, his own sister took him in, only to find out he had tried to break into her daughter's room through a window. Goes to show you, punishment for the 1st crime should be LIFE. He is currently still on death row.

Margaret is a NICU nurse and still wonderfully happily married to Will with a beautiful family that has grown by 4 gorgeous littles. ❤ She's truly someone to admire, although I think she'd wave her hand at you if you told her as much. 😂🎉 We're one of the many families she has helped a handful of years ago, traveling hours to the best nicu in the state. Don't know her personally, anymore than you ever know a nurse who's been amazing, but definitely recognized this wonderful soul, immediately. In some ways I think happiness is a choice, not always an easy one. But a noticeable one all the same. It's the little things we remember when the stress is long gone. ✨️

As someone that lost their mother at a young age I dread these moments. Its very bittersweet. I'm glad she found her happy. I wish all kids that lose their moms could get this kind of joy at least once.

I was crying during this. Lori is a wonderful person with a huge heart. My heart went out to the bride. I can't imagine the pain this poor girl went through losing her mother in such a horrible way.

When I married in September 1981 it was 3 weeks before my 17th birthday and my mum died when I was 15. I never got to go dress shopping with her but I had my 2 eldest sisters with me. The first dress I tried on was the cheapest and was dreadful, it looked like a shroud and my sisters said no immediately so I settled on the second cheapest (we had a very tight budget). My dad cried when he saw me coming down the stairs towards him and said I wish your mum was here, I felt like she was. Twenty or so years later my father-in-law told me I looked like an angel walking down the aisle which made me cry, I believe my mums energy was surrounding me.

When my house got fire all I wanted to do was cry but believe it or not my dress survived & the fire was on the other side of the wall. So I still have my dress my mom made for me

Yet another beautiful bride

My mother died in 1976 when I was 21 and I did not marry until 30. Although my older sister ended up making my dress, we did go look at dresses at a bridal salon to get an idea of what might look good on me. Mom would have loved to come along for that. I did buy a corsage on my wedding day for her and left it by her grave earlier in the day of my wedding. It is sad when your mom never meets your husband or her grandchildren. My heart goes out to this young woman. I wish her much happiness.

This broke my heart. My mom was seriously ill when I went dress searching and it was so hard to not have her there. Luckily we got her out of hospital for our day but it hurts not having the one person who would love to be there.
