Don’t race the lorry because he’s not racing you, sit back & watch your distance. Long distance lorry drivers often are in the wrong lane because they don’t know EVERY roundabout in the U.K.

@Bert Sutherland except they can't detour, they're tracked on every minute they spend driving, exactly where they're driving, how fast they're going, all of it. Every single thing that goes on with that truck is recorded, plus they're only allowed to drive for a specific amount of time before the truck will just turn itself off for a few hours, and if it doesn't they get fined if they can't explain why they drove for longer than they were supposed to

@@thirdpos1871he truck doesnt turn itself off. You just get a breach of driving hours recorded on your tachograph card. You can drive for longer than legal limits for safety reasons but this must be recorded in writing on your tachograph print-out. A vehicle just turning itself off in the middle of the road would be insane.

It is bad drovong by the lorry driver but if you were driving a lorry at many roundabout you would not not get onto the roundabout unless cars gave way. The lorry is 5 times the length of your car and needs the space. Lorry drivers rely on car driver to have good foresight and to be courteous of the space it takes up.

Really true, when you drive this truck,you would see,how easy it is but we trying our best to not abuse car drivers but sometimes if you get inside lain,you are long as you still have to have cab go over to outside lain and then if car is on it and you have to take just your own lane , my trailer go on curbs and what ever else is in middle could be destroyed,so, in that case I do same,stay outside lain as have no choice. Car beeping is unnecessary if you can avoid safety from truck as beeping make me think that there is danger and it shocking unnecessary where we have so much on road what damage our nerves and stress. I can say sorry to that car for this trucker and have bit understanding, I sometimes think to do bin bag changing at stopping centre job ,just because it is peaceful job even for less money.

That’s why it’s messed up. Technically if left lane means you’re taking the next exit … These days because 95% of drivers can’t read English they stay in the left lane to make it easier on themselves.

Wrong. Left and the lane the cars in go onto the motorway but the lane hes in also goes around. This roundabout looks scarily close to one I know that has the same. Simister Island between m66 and m60 and m62

Never sit next to a lorry on a roundabout. Always stagger behind. The driver might not know the area and be in the wrong lane, allow him room to maneuver. It helps the drive and is safer for you.

If the average car driver drove a lorry for a day they would appreciate how getting moving, stopping and manoeuvring a large heavy vehicle takes. Car drivers tend to park badly, they don’t seem to notice that a tall vehicle needs all the road to safely navigate under a bridge or a roundabout, they also use they’re mirrors and indicators. Car drivers drive an hour a day to their work and think they are the only people on the road

I can and I can say it was the hgv drivers fault.... look at the markings on the floor clearly stating arrows forward to go on the motorway, if he was in the lane to go under the bridge he would of been in the lane with the dash cam guy

@@Tomwindram you can't pull the reare that is 14 m back if you in small angle ...the tail will dangerously fo into angle and take both lanes ...so that is it ... when I had my license we all been teached to be careful when lorry maneuver around ... theory is very important ,it's not something you should skip as it may cost you life ...

The comments in this are unreal! OK so first off on the floor the hgv is in a lane to go onto the motorway, the car with the dash cam is in a lane to go on the motorway OR under the bridge.... the car wanted to go on the motorway hence why he sounded his horn to the lorry that continued under the bridge instead of going on the motorway

I've looked at this many times and it us clearly an effed up junction, national highways should be looking at this, there are no delineated lines at the critical spot thereby giving No right of way and right if way to both vehicles at the same time and location. it's insane it must be fixed before somebody dies! THIS JUNCTION IS A *FATAL* ACCIDENT WAITING TO HAPPEN and if they don't fix it then it's culpable neglect.

What is the law in the UK? In some countries trucks must stay in the outside lane. This trucker had his indicator on, and knowing truckers most likely in plenty of time too.

It’s his lane. You should never be beside a lorry like this and expect him to go left he is in the correct lane you however have done two things wrong. Incorrect lane and sitting next to a truck on the inside lane expecting he to go left.

Some car drivers cant drive ones they are in longer car ... thay have no clue how is it to drive one of those ... sit up there and try to use your mirrors to see the back of the trailer , the view will make shake nearly every one . Then you try to corner and try all parts of 16 m to be inline with your lane ...when sometimes is not possible , and yea pay attention on silly drivers that bearly control their 2,5 m small box😂😂😂

The film shows both the car and lorry are in the lane for the m65 and the road markings indicate the both in the right lane but the car wants to then jump in the lorry lane while the lorry in it lol..

Well, the driver stopped for a sec thought you have gone obviously you where gonne from his view. Honking and then putting him on Internet for such a minor offence it leaves me with a bad taste, considering that one of your packages can be inside his box, your mum medication or even your deliveries might be inside that box. If I would publish every car driver that's in the wrong every day you'll be surprised of the amount of small car drivers that are putting my life in danger and theirs. But I'm not posting them as they might be good at their job and bad at driving
