ATTENTION: this stunt group has all graduated high school! WE DON'T STUNT TOGETHER ANYMORE. thus, your constructive criticism doesn't help us... maybe others who watch this and want to learn from it... but not us. :)))
my stunt group just messing around. these are all the stunts we could think of at the time of filming.
some were a little wobbly, but it was mostly because we were being too giggly and goofing around.

VVbrookbeszVV no catching high means you catch them sooner when they come down rather than waiting and having them be closer to the ground when you catch them

I hate when my bases and back spot catch me up high it hurts and is so uncomfortable. As long as we’re being caught lol

Our flyer was a gymnast her whole life prior to starting cheer so her high V was always a problem. Lol. And I am significantly taller than the main base which is why I stood so awkwardly. I totally agree about cheerleaders being role models. We're not here to put each other down, so thank you for your comment.

@Hayli Wah i'm a cheerleader, and Shardy is right. they catch and throw too low. i'm a flyer myself, if you aren't thrown high enough, judges might think you fell. and being caught too low can risk falling.

You people didnt even read the discription! These girls are not in high school anymore. So you can stop wasting your time to give advice when theres none that can offered. These girls have talent, they may not be perfect but there really good. Im going to show my cheer squad this and were going to try some of the stunts that those girls did.

These comments are frustrating because if criticism is going to be given at least use the proper terminology. Also, these girls were in high school doing what would be considered advanced skills for a high school level squad. Although I agree with some of the feedback, I think that their overall skill is exactly where it needs to be. They are not college cheerleaders or on an all-star team, and if the majority of the complaints are targeted towards the "high V" I think the girls are doing well if that's what is chosen to be talked about. Good job ladies!

Samantha Katzakian yes, it might be advanced for a highschool level squad a few years ago. Their stunts were pretty clean, and one of the only problems they had was the flyers high v

Samantha Katzakian ok I’m in a high school team and we can do high v’s correctly catch high enough and with proper technique also your coach should be highly trained to teach this stuff so they should have good technique

This is good, but please please please PLEASE. CATCH HER HIGHER. I noticed that quite a few times her butt hit the bases knees. Backspot: You can control part of this. Honestly, I noticed it was mainly you who was catching low. Her shoulders ended up at head level. Get under her more when catching. Please, I bet the flyer is uncomfortable and if a stunt group is gonna work, everyone needs to be comfortable and trust one another. The flyer most definitely always has it in the back of her mind: "Am I gonna fall through their arms? It's very possible. I just really hope they actually catch me high enough."

Great job👍 just as a cheer coach I’m gonna tell you a few corrections.FLYER when you are in the air widen your high-V and stay tight your high-V looks super sloppy.BASSES catch HIGH don’t catch all the way by her ankles. BACK SPOT when you catch don’t lightly grab get under her and grip her tight. Also when you all are tumbling really push off the ground. FLYER when you are cradling don’t be all wobbly! Hey so I’m a cheer coach around the world if any teams want some coaching be and my staff would be more than happy😊

The flyer needs to tighten up and fix her high V. Other than that you guys were great!

High v needs work, you're spinning the wrong way in your full down and the half up. Full downs turn to the left, half ups/full ups spin to the right. If you want to cheer in college you have to do them that way. The tuck basket was good, and so were the toe touches, the pike needs to snap after the pose is hit. Catch your flyer at your chest so she settles at your stomach instead of catching at your stomach so she settles below your waist. Better than a lot of High schools around me though! So not too bad :) Just work on form and watch other teams to see which way they are spinning.

When you're in high school sure, but collegiate teams and allstar teams all spin left for full/double downs and right for full/double ups. I mean clearly I dont care at all how these girls do it, but if a flyer is hoping to fly in college or anything big like that they have techniques that you have to have. Spinning the correct way is one of them.. Lol. So yeah.

Not going to be rude about this but the high V is at a slant like this \ / not | | and catch your flyer higher a few times she was about an inch away from the ground… these are some tips please don't take them offensive

@BreakingLauren The base holds one foot and the shin or knee on the same leg. The flyer preps on her down foot, uses her arms to push all of her weight through her hands and stands up. She'll have to kind of stick her butt out. The front uses her leg power to push up through her hands to push the flyer in the air. We use a prep bounce at first when we learn it but you don't have to. it can be a direct down up...
