What causes the dreaded "mommy pooch?" Core dysfunction. In this workout plan we’ll heal, strengthen and shape your abs so you can lose your mommy pooch!
This is workout #10 of 10 workouts in this plan. Make sure you follow the workouts in order, as they build on each other. For best results, do each workout for at least 3 times (over the span of 1-2 weeks) before advancing to the next workout in this plan.

Just reached workout 10. Finally! Lol. I did each workout everyday for 2 weeks before moving onto the next. There were times I paused mid week and would start over the following week. I'm seeing a major difference in my core and my waist has shrinked as well. Thank you Lauren. You've made it easy for moms like me to workout at my own pace and still see results.

I did each workout once per day for 2 weeks. I recently started it over and just reached workout 10 again. But this time I did each workout twice for 5 days per week.

I’m making it to workout ten right as my baby is turning one! Thank you for this doable(!) plan. After having four children I had zero strength left in my core and your plan has made a real difference. I’m also proud to be setting a good example for my older kids when they see me exercising. just finishing off phase 4 of your previous ab program . can't wait to start with these series! absolutely love your workouts. my 6 month old post partum belly is feeling so much stronger than ever before! I'm going to continue doing these even after moving on to my regular pre pregnancy workouts!

I reached workout 10 as my son’s turning 5 months today 🎉 your workouts really made such a huge difference - super accessible, easy to integrate into any day (10 minutes, no excuses there) and really nice progression! Will check out your other workouts as well - might be nice to have something a little longer for a day when I have 30-45 mins 😅

I just started #10 today and I started #1 I started in August 2023, my daughter is 3. Better late than never! I've seen major changes when I'm truly consistent! Thank you Lauren for making a challenging yet attainable 10-minute workouts for us moms! I have a toddler and she's been next to me many times! I did each workout for an average of 3-4 weeks and tried for daily workouts. Thanks again!!

I reached workout 10 today, I will do 9 and 10 together the next two weeks and then I’m finished. Thank you so much for this amazing workout series I’m 9 months pp and my belly improved so much since I started 3 months ago I think my belly is the strongest It ever was. Thank you for these programs! I also just finished phase 4 of your last workout, but somehow i didnt see much improvement (i dont have a gap but lack tension, which has caused two clear pooches on my belly and groin).. im halfway through this mommy pooch program and am now pregnant again! 😅 can i continue working on my DR while pregnant or do i need to wait until im postpartum again?

Congratulations! Yes, you can continue most of these exercises! However, you’ll want to totally avoid any movements lying in the prone (on your belly) position; there are a few of there exercises throughout the series. Overall, be mindful of your technique and of course listen to your body and take breaks/modify as needed! I also have trimester specific workouts organized into playlists!

I was working hard for the past two years getting my body back in shape after having my baby. I had lost all the weight and looked great everywhere except my stomach. All the “traditional “ 6 pack ab exercises were not working because I didn’t realize I had diastis recti. I’ve been doing this series in addition to my usual workouts and I can not believe the difference . I can see my abs again. Thank you so much! I only wish I had started this directly postpartum instead of two years struggling to flatten my abs! What ab workout do you recommend to do after this series to challenge more?

Is there an alternative move for the prone airplane? It is uncomfortable to be on my chest while I am breastfeeding.

I understand that! You can do a similar movement on your hands and knees. T spine rotations. Keep your knees under hips and the alternate one arm reaching up toward the ceiling and rotating toward the direction of the arm. A bird dog is another great alternative.

Yes, but it’s really not necessary! You’ll see great results doing just one workout per day, and make sure to take 1-3 days off each week to also for recovery ❤

Hi! Once you are cleared to exercise by your medical provider, I suggest first starting with my C-section recovery plan. You can do this program alongside or after that!

Is this lose your mommy pooch plan (1-10) dr friendly? I am almost 5 months postpartum, i have diastase, i am afraid to do it worse by exercises :(

@@laurenfitterfitness yes, I finished the Dias recti series. I will have a look at your postpartum playlist. My youngest child is 7,5 years old, I'm working on my Dias recti about 9 months now. It was about 3-4 fingers, now only half a finger left. My doctor said it is possible that I always will keep a bit of Dias recti. Do you think I can do any normal ab programs? Cheers and thank you.

@@suzettenadine that’s amazing progress! It is definitely possible that your gap will always be there… that’s a normal sized gap and can still be healed and functional. And it sounds like you’ve done the work! I’d say you could try some of my non-postpartum “regular” Ab workouts if you’d like! They’re also on my channel playlists. Just be mindful of your form and any signs of intolerance (coming/doming of the abdomen, pain of any kind, compensations, etc).

Hi! It varies based on each woman’s DR case (degree of severity) and lifestyle, nutrition, etc. Progress is generally slow but with consistency, you’ll see gradual change and can be fully healed within a few months to a year or so… again, it varies. For me, it takes about 14-15 months, especially because I breastfeed longer. Hope this helps! You’ve got this!
