It'd be more understandable for a very old mansion or estate or villa or what-have-you, the kind where live-in servants were expected and necessary. Or if you were planning on housing a large, extended family, or a bunch of your friends. But for just a nuclear family? Nah. Unless you have some other plans for that space, it's really excessive. I'd have connected some of them up and built some big rooms which you could do something cool with, like building massive train-sets or LEGO creations with your kids, or something equally fun and space-consuming.

After almost 3 years of research, I've come back to this video to provide my theory. Austin is a centipede. Think about it, if someone is a centipede, then "not that many shoes" could mean 100 shoes. Only a centipede would complain about the SMALL things. Because centipedes are small! And the reason he's disconnected from his fanbase is because a centipede wouldn't know how to connect to humans.

omg I'm 20 y/o, also in college and I just moved to a two bedroom apartment (with a friend of mine, no way I would be able to afford it alone, yikes) and I didn't remember how nice it is to have a bedroom since I lived in a studio apartment before this. It isn't huge BUT it is cozy and just enough space for two people. It's actually almost 150e/month cheaper for me to live in this place with a friend than it was living alone in the tiny one room studio. Also, I would like to mention we split the costs 50/50 and I don't technically pay any rent from the money I make at work since the government supports students very well in my country (I get around 570e per month from the government in the form of financial aid and housing benefit, slightly more than I make at work usually. My half of rent is around 350e.) I'm aware I am very priviledged. Moral of the story is, if you have a friend you can survive wíth and you both have jobs, finesse that relationship and live good, because two paychecks is more than one Sorry for any spelling mistakes, English isn't my native language.

@@chocolategoose7350 I can reveal that the reason they are so expensive is that they _absolutely suck and take forever of misery_ to do yourself. After working non-stop on the like, 15 tiles to do the floor in my tiny bathroom, I had to pull two consecutive all-nighters to finish in time for the realtor valuation and photos at the end of the two weeks I allocated to get it done by. On the plus side, I no longer felt annoyed at myself for previously just paying to get the rest of the house done at what I'd thought was probably too much to justify when I should have done it myself. No. Having fucked around and found out in the bathroom afterwards, it was 100% well spent and cheap for saving me the job it would have been.

I kinda do feel bad for their kids though, having to move house so often at such young ages because their parents just have to get a bigger place, like, every year. My family moved once when I was 6, and that was really traumatic for me and my 8-year-old brother (he'd also been through an different move when he was about 2). I can't imagine how that would be for kids younger than that.
@zakosist

Ive moved around a lot as a child, already from I was 4 and never thought it was traumatic. Although I was sad that my parents divorced for a while and wanted the whole family gathered (but realize later that wouldn't be the best). You sorta just get used to moving in my opinion, but the circumstances around it can matter. But maybe it happening earlier first time for me made it easier to adapt. Another issue is maybe do they actually have the main focus in life or raising their children and give them a good upbringing, or does it turn superficial focusing mainly on their internet fame and luxury?
@rosieleaverton
@rosieleaverton 8 ай бұрын
@@zakosist It was traumatic for us because we were such shy kids that had trouble making friends, and then we had to leave literally everything behind and move to a different state. It was definitely for the best, but at the time, we were leaving everything we'd ever known.

@@rosieleaverton It's kind of understandable then. I was either way an outsider growing up, from kindergarten up to high school. So socially not much would change if I moved somewhere completely new. The wild thing about this to me is like…don’t you have interests? Wouldn’t you want to use this wealth to get into some kind of cool hobbies? Get someone to tutor you how to 3D model and make things with a high-end 3D printer. Do/fund some sort of niche area of research you’re fascinated by. Maybe one of your kids loves hockey, or fencing, or something, and you can use all that money to facilitate that love! But no - it’s just about their house. They’re boring people.
