Your love for animals and wildlife reminds me of my late wife Laura who lost her battle w/ cancer last year 😔... watching you and the Red Squirrels and hearing about your efforts to save them was so much like something she'd do... (she and her friend drove about 90 minutes to transport 2 baby possums whose mother (mum as you say in the UK) was killed by a car)... the babies were on her back, unhurt. They got them home and into an empty tub w/ towels to keep them safe until they made contact w/ a wildlife sanctuary up in the North Georgia mountains that would take them. I just bought 2 of your calendars to help. Never change who you are... your work is stunning. A fan from "across the pond".

I like your Swedish squirrels with dark tails. Here in the Adirondacks in New York state we have all black squirrels. They are found in many places in North America and our population seems to be increasing. Kudos to your conservation efforts.

Those red squirrels are beautiful much nicer than the grey here in the UK. Those Northern lights are beautiful. Hello Dani, what a good idea that you want to buy the Squirrels forest. for this i brought the Squirrels calendar right a way. But just buying the forest is not enough i think. There need a financial plan for the future as well. Maybe an Foundation or an other group of people that shares your interest could be setup or included in your plan. When you have that setup and share it with me; i will donated an other 50 euro to help you a little bit.

Well I wasn't expecting to cry but here I am. The way you positioned the squirrel with the berries and foliage was a beautiful tribute to his/her life and to the cycle of life in the forest. You really have a talent for filing and editing videos. They're always a perfect mix of sit down to talk parts, beautiful scenery, and music. The adorable pupper helping take sticks upstairs was so cute. I so wish I could help right now but I'm in a really bad financial situation. I've been heavily involved in old growth forest land conservation efforts in the northern California Redwood Coast and I get such a kick out of watching the gray squirrels in that forest do their thing.

Fortunately, there are also people like you, who take care of your precious animals. You can tell you're kind to them and you really care. I am a great lover of animals, from time to time I like to go out to record the fauna that I have nearby and upload content. Since I have the honor of living in a privileged area of Spain, with a very interesting fauna "almost on the doorstep" we can find Ursus arctos pyrenaicus, Canis lupus signatus, Tetrao urogallus, Aquila chrysaetos homeyeri, Felis silvestris tartessia, Vipera seoanei, Timon lepidus, the beautiful Alcedo atthis.... Hi Dani, I have been feeding some squirrels in my garden for 2 years and they would come right up and eat a few feet away from me and they used to pop up when I came out the back door. A few weeks ago the tree they lived in which was in a neighbouring garden was cut down and they haven’t returned. I am currently up in the forests of the Cairngorms in Scotland, very similar environment. The autumn colours up here (or down here from Sweden!) are spectacular too. I have seen a dozen or so red squirrels which are a delight to behold, last June I saw none :-( What a wonderful job you do, will be buying a calendar. Good luck with the forest.
