Just a short video explanation of why I haven’t been posting videos here lately. A little discussion about some things to do when you’re fueling and an explanation of how the lift axle on my truck actually works. And some discussion on the passing of my dad and my mom and you several years back and how that’s kind of affected my daily routine almost every year around this time of year for like the last while since my mom died in 2002 and since my dad passed away in 2011.hope you find it interesting and enjoy. Thank you so much.

Your message is timely. Lost a family member suddenly in the last minutes of the night on 4/20. He was a great man and even though only in his 40’s had the wisdom & knowledge of someone over 100 years old. He knew and shared so much and was easy to get along with. And served our country in 2 branches of military. He will be missed 🫡 Prayers with you remembering your family sir.

I understand what you go through. Lost my mom in 2019 and dad in 2022. It is a struggle at different times of the year. God Bless you.

Just came across your channel by accident. I reckon we may be of similar vintage although I’ve never worked in your industry. However in my early 20’s I was lucky enough to get a job as a Storeman in a large tech company. The guy that was my boss was in his mid 50’s at the time (so he was young!😂😂). I learned so much about the job from that guy. I basically got 30 years experience in a few years. He unfortunately had a stroke a few years later but because of all of the knowledge and experience he’d hammered into me I was able to make a massive career leap and take over his job. I’ve since gone on to have a happy and successful career in the IT industry because of this (long story!) and actively look for opportunities to pass on my knowledge to younger colleagues. So if you are a younger person (20’s-30’s) reading this definitely go out and find yourself an older mentor. It may be as simple as asking “why do you do that that way” but you could kindle a life long friendship from just such a simple interaction.
