"Are we saved?" "No Sawyer. Not yet." Such a great moment, layered with meaning, from the two characters with perhaps the most baggage, guilt, and self-loathing on the island.

@@Jordan-Ramses I mean, I get that that is how a lot of shows move forward plots, but this show was worse than most. People literally die in this show because of lack of communication. I hate dramatic irony, and it's so overused in this show... I know most people hate this show's ending, but it went downhill for me a lot earlier than that.

@@MeyaRoseGirl - Nobody died It's not real. It's just a television show. If that isn't the kind of TV show that you like that is fine. But i wish more characters had died. It makes it seem more dramatic. There is no drama if you put a character in a dangerous situation but the audience knows they aren't going to die. I kind of prefer 'The 100' in some ways. The plot moves more consistently fast and more characters die. I thought the episode with Jack and the cave-in was intensely boring. Jack wasn't going to die.

Matrix type thing so like the mysterious of the island are technical based 2. It’s a lie it’s just some entity trying to trick Micheal maybe it can like read peoples thoughts 3. Two characters saying "Where is she?" to Jack as he's giving them medical attention is just a case of a writer using the same phrase. Happens a lot in this show, with a lot of phrases. As an example "You don't call, you don't write." is said by two different characters this season.

What Kate did is so much worse than what Ana Lucia did.
@Sabrina-jl4sp
@Sabrina-jl4sp 3 жыл бұрын
"So much worse?" I disagree. Ana Lucia killed a man who 100% was going to go to jail for his crime Kate had much less reason to believe her dad would face any kind of punishment for his. Also Ana could be certain that she would never face any repercussions for her crime whereas Kate had to contemplate what she was risking by taking a man's life. They both took a life in cold blood premeditated. I don't see how what Kate did is so much worse. Arguably Ana Lucia's proximity to the law, clear abuse of power and desire to continue in her position even after she committed murder makes her a worse person.

Let's not forget that Sawyer murdered Frank instead of the original Sawyer; the intent to kill was there, regardless of Hibbs directing him to a different target. No-one is worse than the other, it's all morally grey for a reason 😜

@@Sabrina-jl4sp What the hell are you talking about? Weren't you paying attention? Kate didn't kill her father because of his drunken abuse of her mother. She killed him because she had learned Wayne WAS her father and she couldn't deal with it. She couldn't deal with the idea of being related to Wayne and she murdered him in cold blood for that. Even her stepfather, Sam Austen, had pointed out that if Kate had known the truth about Wayne, she would have killed him. She wasn't trying to protect her mother. I cannot believe that after 15-and-a-half years, people are still wallowing in that nonsense about Kate killing Wayne to protect her mother. Why can't people just accept the truth?

Kate murdered her father, because she couldn't deal with them having a blood connection. She had always thought he was her stepfather. When she learned the truth, Kate went off her rocker and murdered the man in cold blood. She proved to be a much bigger monster than Wayne ever was.

@crairdin
@crairdin Жыл бұрын
@@bafmd I agree that Michael is written very poorly. I've never seen him in anything else so I don't know if he's a good actor. But writing makes all the difference in the world. Witness the first six Star Wars movies for countless examples. When you think through the entire series you realize that it's not the line-by-line writing or acting that makes it work, it's the overall structure of the plot from beginning to end. I can put up with Michael only because Ben, Desmond, Sun/Jin, and Juliette are so well done. And then compare the kind of crap romance you see on something like the Hallmark channel with Charlie/Claire, Sawyer/Juliette, Rose/Bernard, Sun/Jin, Hugo/Libby, Sayid/Shannon, and probably more I'm not thinking of. This isn't a romantic drama primarily and they still outperform shows that focus on that genre.
