Good acting by Lilly, but I didn't find the scene "heartbreaking". Just relieved that she had finally did the right thing by handing Aaron over to his grandmother.

Jack's pettiness had more to do with Kate's negative attitude toward him and his memory of how the time he had saved Ben's life led to his discovery of Kate's cage sex with Sawyer back in Season Three. He was being a vindictive dick.

They'd go looking for her cause she wasn't supposed to leave the state, and I doubt she'd want to get Aaron involved in something like that.

😩😩There are seriously no love triangle moments in this episode. TALKING about previously being in a relationship or almost relationship does not further a love triangle plot, it closes it.

There are no love triangles at this point. Sawyer and Juliet are in love. Kate and Jack are in love but are having problems in their relationship. And I realize that Rick may not like this, but those love triangles had and will continue to have major impacts on their character arcs.

I don't care for love triangles either. Thankfully, there were none in this episode.

He obiously ASKED if it wasnt sayid with the blood donation, they watch quite some shit inbetween Sessions so maybe give them a break No love Triangles? Really? What show are you watching then?^^ They fire stuff towards the love triangle (even thou its more of a love square by now) all the time even in this season. Just because they dont bang eachother doesnt mean the show doesnt try to hold onto it. As Eric say´s it was very effective for reaching a wider audience back then. For the time stuff, Eric is just pointing out stuff that he picked up back in the day´s when he watched it first...please remember this is only a REACTION, not a "lets analyze Lost" And as pointed out it still could work out...so it really isnt as big of a deal anyway.

The point I was making is there are absolutely no romantic feelings between Jack and Juliet as well as no romantic feeling between Kate and Sawyer in this episode. People often have a kneejerk reaction to a Kate episode as "OH SHE'S GONNA FLIRT WITH THE OTHER GUY! OH SHE'S GONNA CREATE ROMANTIC DRAMA!" That doesn't occur in this episode, mostly because the actress was sick of it and I was always so proud of this episode for not resorting to that. They are simply discussing their current problems they need to solve with each other's partners. No flirting here, no more triangles. It's like you didn't read what I typed. I'm afraid Eric is wrong. For Kate to get to Arizona the specific times she went it couldn't work. In Something Nice Back Home Kate saying "I could stop by for a couple hrs" on the phone to Cassidy while it's evening, and she think's Jack's still at work and that she'll have time to get back before he gets home that same evening completely debunks it. They seriously have some of the longest post episode LOST discussions I've ever watched. Eric talked about analyzing the mathematical possibly of Kate driving to Arizona, something I've never seen any other reactor do watching this show. Eric even has a book(although that book is sometimes wrong) about the show to show things to Rick and brings up things from past seasons regularly. To say their post episode discussions aren't for analyzing LOST is a joke.

@@YodatheHobbit I feel your frustration. It's obvious at this point that there is no love triangle, but so many reactors seem to assume there is. And the writers don't help (with a certain future scene) - it's like they just can't let go of if. But Kate made it clear in an earlier episode that she was here for one reason - and we find out in this episode that it's to find Claire and bring her back to Aaron.

That's a rather silly thing to say. Who is then? Who isn't a product of their biology and environment/life? At the end of season 4, the show portrays him as being in the deepest circle of hell ala Dante's Inferno. Ben and Locke go very deep underground. Ben finds himself in an icy room, whereas Satan is trapped in ice. In the lowest circle, Satan chews on the worst traitors, and Ben gets his arm bit by the rusty ladder for betraying "the Dharma Initiative." Dante exits hell to the opposite side of the world, and Ben ends up in Africa from the Pacific. Just saying

i dont see a problem, they are ALLOWED 10 minutes, they dont have to use 10 minutes. You can still follow the story, you can get their reaction and if they smash everything into here...how would they promote watching their full length stuff on patreon? Why are you so bent on them calling Kate out as if the show doesn't enough? Most viewers adore Ben and Locke and Sawyer despite them doing worse things than Kate. Their crimes don't register with people.

@@DanY-gx2dv Many "LOST" fans love calling out characters like Michael and Ben. But when it comes to Kate and Sawyer, they'll either remain silent or pretend they had done nothing wrong. Both Eric and Rick seemed to be among latter. Why shouldn't Kate be called out for her mistakes and crimes, like other characters? Why should some characters be called out for their crimes and not others? By the way, Kate has committed worse crimes than Locke. She murdered her father in cold blood because she was having an identity crisis, committed insurance fraud, organized a bank robbery that threatened the lives of o hers and kept Aaron away from his grandmother for selfish reasons and for nearly three years. Her crimes are just as bad.
