Surprised that Bram picking up Miles in the van wasn’t discussed at the end. Thought that was actually a quite neat reveal to imply he’s not just a henchmen to Ilana but someone a little bit more involved.

tbh I never saw it as Phil being loyal to Sawyer, he did his duty but he always secretly resented him. Then when he finds some dirt on him, he's so excited he just wants to flaunt it in Sawyer's face to watch him sweat. The power dynamic shifts. I don't think Phil was ready for getting punched and tied up though lol I think he just wanted to give Sawyer a few minutes of scrambling before exposing him.

16:36 I've always seen it as, Jack, Kate and Hurley didn't actually take the aptitude test. It was all forged by Sawyer and/or Juliet. They put them in jobs that would be out of the way and not draw attention to them. I agree though that Jack actually seems to enjoy the janitorial role. Hurley loves working the kitchen.

It's pretty cool how Kate can both related to Ben's dad as a parent and also Ben as the child of an abusive parent who killed his dad(although I'm pretty sure she doesn't know Ben killed him). Although it's true that she didn't know Wayne was her real father, she did find that out, and that's what prompted her to kill him. Not the abuse, but finding out that she came from him drove her over the edge. It's one thing if say you lived with Hitler, but imagine finding out he's your dad. You'd want to destroy that link to you. 'We had the episode with him(Miles) and like Walt, right?' *face palm*

Maybe he wrote the empire strikes back and george lukas left out his corrections cause he didn't like them. Then we would have a time loop like with the compass. xD

The fact that destiny and fate have been a push and pull subject with science in LOST for so long I like to believe the rules for time travel is the scientific explanation of said destiny. What happened happened.

Rick's comment about Hurley experiencing Gungans made me think for a second, and I realized that The Phantom Menace came out in 1999, and the show started off in 2004, then the Oceanic Six left the island and we time skipped forward about 3 years into 2007 before coming back to 1977. Revenge of the Sith came out in 2005, so Hurley would have had to know about all of the Prequels before he returned to the island, but he only talked about the OT. So I have come to two possible conclusions: 1) the Prequels never existed in the Lost world, or 2) Hurley had no notes about them and enjoyed even Jar Jar. Given what I know about the feeling about the movies at the time and Hurley's comments about the movies and Ewoks in this episode, I am going to assume that Conclusion 1 is correct, and George Lucas did not create the Prequel Trilogy in the Lost universe, and Star Wars ended with Revenge of the Sith, at least at the time of Lost, and Hurley never got to experience any of the rest of the movies or shows.

There's got to be an alternate universe where the actor who plays Faraday, plays Batman in their DCEU

Roger's name is Roger Linus, not Roger Workman. How strong is the electromagnetism underneath the Swan station? Was this the second Dharma worker to be killed by it? I could have sworn that another worker was killed by the electromagnetism in the opening scene of Season Five. Jack's stress came from being in proximity with an emotionally abusive father and its aftereffects. Exactly where was Dr. Chang working? Gungans also rock.

this was a great episode, one thing that annoys me is that theyre printing the hatch number on the hatch lid when the numbers were actully on the side

I always thought the aptitude tests were taken by the people whose places they took on the incoming sub, like those jobs belonged to those people. If not Jack probably took it and they saw he likes cleaning up peoples messes 🤣 fixin things 🌴❤️🌴

The last episode caused me to get up turn the tv off and never talk of it again. What an absolute waste of hours, I’m sure the writers just got fed up towards the end, did a bunch of mind altering substances and just ploughed out any old rubbish as fast as their hands could type.
