I love the Praise for Juliet. She has always been my favorite character and I think she is such a good actress. All of her flashback episodes are among my favorites because she is so convincing, and not only that, she is so great with her eyes. She doesn’t have to speak a single word and you can see exactly what she is feeling by looking at her eyes. She is an amazing addition to the cast since season 3 and I will go to my grave saying that she is one of the most interesting characters in the series

"What about you?" is such a simple but great line from Jacob when referring to Ben.

Juliets death for me is the most emotional in the entire show. The motivations of the characters and the acting from both parties just elevate it to an unreal level

Rick really nailed this episode's twist. I was devastated because Locke didn't deserve to die like that, after everything he'd suffered in his life.

My favorite episodes of the show, and Juliet is probably a Top 3 character for me. So these ones are always tough to watch, but amazing. Elizabeth is an amazing actress.

One of the best episodes of the show. ''You have no idea what I had to go through to get here''. It's really interesting to think about all the scheming and planning the MiB had to do to get his loophole. And, in a way, it's kind of sad because, yet again, Locke was USED by someone who didn't give a shit about him.

When you finish this show, you need to watch the Lost Explained videos. They are incredibly well crafted explanations and analysis of everything in Lost and it helps fit so much together.

Fun fact with game aspect. Prior to season 6 all promotional work did not have a single shot of the final season to keep fans guessing what happened. The various networks that aired LOST had to come up with their own promos using old footage to get viewers hyped. One network did montage like ad that had everything set up like a chess board.

Shouldn't really mention MIB and Smokey being the same thing, tho I understand for the discussion you kind of have to play with that idea. That's revealed in the next episode (even if it is quite obvious) Anyway, it does make rewatching the show (which I have done like 8 times now), seeing how different characters are examined/tested/judged/'pushed' by MIB, well worth it.

A couple of quick points: 1. Jacob is not Jesus' father, but he is one of his ancestors. I don't think Eric meant to say that he was his father, he probably just forgot. 2. Eko's brother's name is Yemi, not Remy, but that's just a minor nitpick because I know Eric actually knows his real name. Great discussion guys! I'm excited to see your reactions to the final season!

Going into the final episode, I had the entire crazy theory that Locke was dead the whole time and that our familiar friend was pretending to be him since that episode where Ben went to get judged by the Smoke Monster. I found it weird and perfect timing how Locke wasn't around when Smokey appeared and then later on Locke told Ben he'd have to kill Jacob. It all fit together well like a puzzle. The only real question was...Why? I had the theory and prediction the Smoke Monster would be the real true final villain since Season bloody one and people called me nuts and to be fair they were right lol. But it felt so great to feel right when Season 5 ended lol. Such a great twist. Especially if you understood and knew Locke's character and realize his entire behavior and attitude after he "came back to life" was so off. Locke was always unsure of himself, always pretending to be confident. Always needing reasurrence. New Locke was the complete opposite. Sure you could say its cause he came back to life and was reborn and thus knew things now but na. It never felt like Locke and when you realize Ben had killed him back then, its just so sad and tragic. Man, I hope you love Season 6. It may not be the best season but its still fun and good in its own way.

I DONT think John Locke’s spiritual development in the earlier seasons was a farce, with the man in black manipulating him, whispering things into his ears, like it’s going to rain. I think his spiritual growth was genuine, but he took a misdirect that led to his demise.

Ugh! Such a great episode and an awesome reaction as usual! Juliet’s death guts me every time!!

*SPOILERS FOR ANYONE WHO HASN'T FINISHED THE SERIES* Now that y'all have finished this series and having watched it myself multiple times......it actually is resolved. Just not the way most people wanted it to. The ending is definitely bittersweet, and the "alternate reality" is a little weird. But when you find out that it's all a "holding space/purgatory" for everyone affected by the island, until they're all ready to move on?? It's actually really cool and so sweet. Seeing everyone happy and together is just, ugh. Perfection. I still cry every time though at the closing shot of Jack dying on the beach and Vincent running up to him and snuggling beside him so he dies peacefully. SUCH A GOOD DOGGO. 😭😭😭😭😭

When Juliet falls it guts me the pain in both of their voices everytime. So hard to hea those screams from both. 😢

I just wish 1 major thing was handled differently in Lost and that's the ''spiritual'' side of things. Damon Lindelofs' The Leftovers did that so much better. Spoilers for S6: Instead of the vague glowing light, I wish there was more thought put behind it. Like some story development where Jacob and his people discover the light and learn about it. Or maybe go throughout time and showcase different civilizations living on the island and all having different ways of interpreting the light. With different civilizations tapping into it in different ways and giving it different applications. Some people could call it life energy, others could call it nature's energy, others could call it the world's power source, others could call it a deity and pray to it etc. Long story short, I just wish they developed ''the island'' more. It was all a vague mystery and the survivors on the island just randomly decided they could make purgatory to meet up with each other lol.

Yknow I know some people dislike the last season but I'd have been WAY madder if they fully reset everything hahaha

I don't get why the Man in Black as Locke was confused when Richard brings him to the foot when he went there in the first scene in the previous episode. Shouldn't he have made the connection?

I never really loved locke like most of fandom did. However he just flat out kills it as Flocke!! Period. Spookie, frightening and epic

I remember watching this when it came out, i was so annoyed having to wait a year to see what happened 😄. Also, you guys should check out "From" its from the creators of lost and starts "Michael" (Harold Perrineau). Big lost vibes, great show, i think you'd enjoy it.

God the last season is such a mind fuck. I spent most of it utterly confused. I just didn’t get it until the end. It went completely over my head.

Waiting through the summer for Season 6 to start was excruciating.
