Lost on Sri Lanka's Friendliest Street in a town called Chilaw, Sri Lanka. In this video we will explore the streets and buy some goods that we will use to decorate our Tuktuk for the TukTuk Tournament 2023! We will not only buy a couple of items, but also interact with plenty of locals so that you can get a good understanding of how friendly the Sri Lankan people are!

It's a British thing. I was freaked out that it was curved at the tip. That wouldn't pass EU regulations for bendy vegetables and fruit! And I'm sure Gladys had the opposite idea of giving it to a kid.

@@Travelwithchris Hello Chris, Noticed that you were looking for a small statue of a Saint to have it inside your Three-Wheeler (Tuk Tuk). Saw you asking from the shop seen in your KZfaq video filmed in Chilaw, Sri Lanka. The coastal belt towns such as Negombo and Chilaw have a large population of Roman Catholics in Sri Lanka originating from the Portuguse Colonial times. You should be able to find a small statue of a Catholic Saint at a Catholic Shop that is at a Roman Catholic Church, and typically these Parish Shops are open at Roman Catholic Churches on Sundays, however there are Catholic Shops that are open daily that sells small statues that can be placed inside a vehicle. Typically Roman Catholics in Sri Lanka (similar to how Roman Catholics in America too do) would hang a Holy Rosary on the front Windscreen Mirror and also have a mini statue of Saint Christopher who is the patron saint of travellers. For you having a statue of Saint Christopher is more meaningful as he is your patron saint as your name is Chris. As being a Roman Catholic myself I too have a blessed Holy Rosary hanging on the Windscreen Front Mirror and an image of Saint Christopher hanging inside my car when I drive. Some of the Catholic Churches that usually have Catholic Shops that are open everyday are near the Philip Neris Roman Catholic Church in Pettah, Colombo and near the Fatima Church in Maradana, Colombo. If you are in Chilaw, check the Our Lady Of Mount Carmel's Cathedral, as they might be able to help out with some advice where to buy a mini/small Saint Christopher Statue, and you might be able to buy a Holy Rosary and can get a Roman Catholic Priest to bless it and you can hang it on the Windscreen mirror on your Three-Wheeler (Tuk-Tuk). Hope this help.
