In this video, I will show you how to take 2 sheets of craft foam and transform them into an incredibly stylish mini top hat.
If you have found this video because you want to make your own mini top hat, I am sure you have already seen a truckload of hats and patterns, all with straight sides, which is great, but I wanted to push the envelope a bit and see if I could bring you something with a bit more aesthetic shape. And thanks to the magic of craft foam once again, here it is.
The great thing with mini top hats, once you have the base shape, depending how you decorate them, they can accessorise a wide variety of fashion styles. Steampunk, Bridal, Circus, Burlesque, Lolita, Goth.

+Maaz H Hi Maaz, I hear what you are saying, the problem is that it takes me about a month of full time work to design the patterns(which usually need a bunch of different sizes) record and edit the tutorial, and write up a complete step by step procedure that is part of the purchased pattern. So, as you can understand, if I didn't charge a small amount for the pattern, I wouldn't be able to feed my family, I would need to get a job at the local burger joint, and there would be no more patterns. And I would be sad. Not that I don't like burgers, they're great. I actually do have a few free patterns so you can check out the quality of my work if you would like- check out the Viking shield and axe pattern. Hope you understand:) Have a super great day! Do you know how much I LOVE this Channel??????? This is so so so so so amazing. I love this so much. I'm so obsessed with Steampunk, but I can't really afford the expensive products available online, and most of my homemade ones aren't exactly stellar. I have just made one of these top hats and I was blown away. For a first attempt it was so close to perfect that I was amazed at how easy this was. Between the video tutorial and the instructions this was a lot easier to put together than it looked and it with very little practice I am sure I will be able to make them perfectly and quickly. You are awesome, I want to have your babies!!!
