This is a perfect example of Peter Jackson picking all the right people for LOTR. They can make fun of each other and there's no arguments or fighting. Sean is even busting his own chops about it. This is why they're all still close friends now after twenty-four years. There will never be another Lord of the Rings.

It’s funny that Sean Bean hates flying in the helicopters and would instead walk to the locations, which could take a few hours just to avoid flying. Then there is Sean Aston who was worried about the helicopters landing.

To be fair to Sean who must be a worrier like me, things don't always go right and people like the pilot don't always have everything under control. Many celebrities have died in crashes, usually smaller planes and helicopters. It's just like how medical mistakes are one of the biggest causes of death, professionals are just people like everyone else and sometimes they get distracted or make mistakes.

Astin grew up with his mom patty duke who was suicidal in the bathroom of their house and astin having to deal with that I'm sure effected him.

Can relate so much to Sean, surely he must have problems with flying as well.

Sure, I might have been annoyed if I were that chopper pilot. But it’s a fact that you can’t take for granted always getting a landing that you can walk away from; and that’s the only kind you ever want to have.

I feel like actors just blindly trusting that people know how to do their jobs safely is how Rust happened...

Sean did a fantastic job acting in the film. But my god this kind of micromanaging (when you don't have the expertise for it no less) would be infuriating to work with. Asking the pilot if he knows where the other aircraft are and how to land? Insulting and unnecessary. I like things to be done correctly too and I also focus on the task at hand more than socializing. That's a "thing" we have to work on, it's not because we're actually legitimately more knowledgeable or right than anyone else. xD We're micromanagers.
