Dave was one of a kind. I met him completely in character.....When he autographed my tour program, he simply drew a line across it. I looked at it and was super confused. He then said "What? It says Oderus on it". Fucking hilarious....I will never forget that moment

I met Dave - out of Oderus character - many years ago in Louisville KY. What an awesome & intelligent person. RIP Dave! He was so charismatic & just very charming...Gwar lost something incredibly special the day Dave died, man.

years and years ago, I sent a letter to GWAR. Imagine my surprise when weeks later I got a voicemail at 1am from Dave/Oderus. I missed the live call by less than 10 minutes. I kept the voicemail for years, but then it got deleted by accident. I sure wish I still had that message.

@Clayton Johnson I was asking them permission to name something after Oderus and Beefcake. The voicemail from Dave was like " I don't care what the F* you do dude, (but in a joking way. They were drunk but being funny and friendly.) I can't remember the rest, as it was in the early 1990's.

Brockie was so brilliant! What a massive loss. I met him a few times when I was a kid in the early 90's because my cousin knew him. He was one of the nicest & funniest guy's I've ever met. I'm so glad that I had the honor to meet him. It's ready sad that he's gone.

A company I used to work with, did a haunted house at Riot Fest Chicago in 2014. All of the guys came through to see our show. This was a few months after Brockie had passed, but it was still pretty awesome getting to meet the rest of the band.
