hey sanjay, thanks for putting out so many great vid's! i'm working on getting my workflow to a more effective level, which also involves for me switching as little as possible between my midi controleer (arturia MKII 88), and computer keyboard and mouse. I spent lots of hour behind the computer and constantly moving around give my arms and fingers a lot of fatigue and RSI type of complaints. This seems like a good aid, but i'm curious how easy it is to move around in Ableton while ALSO accessing plug-ins (i have tons of NI) and effects. How do you combine it with the controllers on the keyboard? can you manually link different parameters to either keyboard and Loupedeck, or are you 'bound' to the factory presents of the knobs and controllers...sorry if i'm all over the place, but this has been bugging me for quite a while..thanks, Edgar

Seems awesome, but I'm looking for only a box with all-DAW transport control. Looked at Panorama P1 but it's huge and has a screen which makes it expensive. Akai LDP8 seems very mappable but doesn't have transport control. Korg NanoKontrol? Specifically, I want to 1) rec 2) undo 3) go to loop start and try again.

Glad you did a review. I've been looking at this all year for Ableton. The new live version might be the one. My problem with any of these controllers is they often get abandoned by the developer and then you're stuck with a paperweight. Im a designer and Creative director so there are a few design programs i’d use this with. I'm trying to abandon Adobe so if use them with the Affinity suite of design tools.

@@SanjayC I'm using Novation controllers and maschine mini and Jam. They take up a lot of desktop space and are still fairly limited in Ableton and useless in other apps. I also use a gaming mouse that you can bind macros to the additional buttons which has been great in Ableton for my most used actions like Browse and show effects/ clips. Years ago I used a gaming keypad (The Nostromo) which was abandoned by the developer. I loved that controller. While it was built for games you could make your own mappings and macros to other software, so I used it in Photoshop and After Effects. I've been looking at gaming keypads again (Razer bought the Nostromo but has also dropped software development) so I'm still basicly researching and trying to figure out what's worth spending the money on. The biggest hurdle I'm finding with the controllers is breaking all of my old bad habits of using a mouse and keyboard and using the new shortcuts. I've also been testing / using IPad apps like touchable but as long as it's been around its constantly broken.

Hi Sanjay, Love the channel and I recently decided to get back in to music myself after 20+ years away from it! I am 54 now :-( I decided to buy Ableton Live 10 after many reviews and I watched your video of creating a simple song and using midi and the live looping! I love creating Dance/House music. I have a suggestion for a video unless you have done one already and I can't see it lol. The suggestion is regarding samples from various websites, your top ten places to get samples based on the quality & price etc etc. What are your thoughts on this please? I am starting out and there are so many sites for samples & plug ins it can be a bit confusing! Some sites are very expensive for the samples which I always question and ask myself are they better and worth that amount of money or would I be paying over the odds and just stick to cheaper ones. Sorry for long message a video would be great. :-) Regards Jon .L

@@SanjayC lol. Probably. My job got it for me, so it’s pretty much a keeper. 😂 I haven’t opened it yet; it came just before I was leaving for vacation. 😳😂🙏🏾🙌🏾

Sorry - this is too expensive when I can get and use a Streambox xl for $275 and it has way more buttons, is icon driven, and I can use it for crazy things like Flight Simulator! I do like the rotary knobs on this but I can add 10 of those to a custom enclosure for another $100.
