Have you tried the Davinci Speed Editor? You can't customize it but that's OK by me because it's designed specifically for Resolve. I can FLY thru the cut page and paint on different camera angles if it's a multicam shoot.

I gotta try it ! I was actually ZOOMING on this guy ( filmed and ended in like 3-4 hours) I cant imagine that being faster lol

Hi I got my Speededitor for free when I bought the studio version of Resolve like 2,5 years ago so it was a good deal. But if you need to buy it and loop deck is a better cheaper solution because you could color grade with it as well...if you are like me with the speed editor probably a Davinci hardware for color grade make more sense...

I see you doing a great job here. I have the CT, but I'm still learning how to set it up. Do you have any tutorials that train me to set the CT Up? If so please provide me links. I'm primarily using it right now for Apple Logic Pro X, and soon Final Cut Pro X. I'll appreciate any information and advice you can provide.

4/12/2024 - BlackMagic just released the NEW DaVinci Resolve Micro Color Panel at NAB today! B&H has it listed for $495.00 USD Which is cheaper than the Loupedeck CT which is $605 USD. And with the Loupedeck you will have to fight to get it work with Davinci Resolve while the Micro Color Panel is designed to work out of the box! The other problem with the CT is that the 3rd party plug in Will have to be updated for every new version of Davinci Resolve. Blackmagic, at NAB, just Announced Davinci Resolve version 19. It may take a while for small third party plugins to get updated to work with version 19 and beyond. Being that I just received my CT 10 days ago I returned it for a FULL refund and purchased the micro color panel! Hope this helps someone.

I have seen you copy and paste this on every Loupedeck video I've watched. Seems a little weird. You should probably disclose if you work for Blackmagic when doing this stuff.

@@lamarthomas1127 it seems mighty suspicious if I’m honest. Not about whether it is helpful or not. I have a ct, and if I need I’ll get a colour panel. Edit: you posted a video showing serious issues with the colour panel?? Dunno why you would be recommending it to everyone.

Nice video and idea unfortunately the build quality of this panel is very cheap and not really usable for long editing sections. Is cheap but you get what you pay. Compared to BMD speed editor and Keyboard the feeling is like using a toy. However the customization capabilities are intersing to be used in other software, like Nuke or Houdini. Slightly better than using a joypad with macros

I’ve had it for a few months now and I’ve been fine editing docs and I probably make 8-12 KZfaq videos a month and it’s held up fine! I haven’t tried the BMD , but heard good things !
