What's going on everybody Rob here with a little video about the little giant letter. This is the 22 or 23 foot little giant ladder is really heavy and awkward to use as you see in the video this is the second video I shot using this little giant ladder but if you have the really big one you do need at least two people to stand up this little giant ladder. I know people say that I have the ladder is too far of a pitch and that's why it is bouncy. The pitch doesn't have much to do with the pin that is dead center in the middle of the letter. That pin actually has a little fluctuation in it which causes the letter to spring in and out. Yes when it is in a higher pitch it does bounce more. I do like this 23 foot or 22 foot little giant ladder as a A-frame ladder. It is a very solid A-frame ladder and if you have two or three people to stand straight up and tied off at the top it is a very solid extension letter. Of course this is all my own opinion and point of view and as I said before in my last review of the little giant ladder there was a love hate relationship about 50-50 50% like that 50% felt the way I did.
Thanks for watching,
Rob here a.k.a.Trev2323

Please just stop before you end up in the emergency room... You should NEVER climb a ladder at that angle. You have the base waaaay to far out. You are going to ride that to the ground one day... soon. So yes it's unstable you are using it wrong. Also as Wud mentioned you only extend the (top half) put it against the base and walk it up. It's not hard to leverage that much weight with it against the house and your son could do it alone if he knew how. You then hand over hand extend the bottom section straight up and you have it at its full extension. If my 16-year-old little sister can do it so can you...

The rule of thumb for the correct ladder angle is easily checked. When the ladder is at the correct angle your body should be completely vertical when climbing the ladder. Not leaning forward towards the ladder or your body leaning back if the base of the ladder is too close. The way you are using both ladders is very dangerous. Watch a few fire fighter videos on how to correctly use a ladder before you and your friend get seriously hurt. And adjust the ladder the correct length so that the angle is correct against the wall. The problem is not the ladder. It is the user of the ladder!

From what i hear, ladders have a 3 to 1 rating. Meaning if its rated at 300lbs it can hold up to 900lbs. Thats what i have been reading online.. i googled "ladder for 300lb man" and have seen results that mention the 3 to 1 rating. The only thing i wish to know is if that middle portion has ever collapsed in on somebody. Are there are cases out there where these ladders have folded in, snapped or broken loose on someone?

Two people trying to set up a ladder is dangerous. Your supposed to use the house as the kick to position the foot of the ladder and then walk it up. You set that ladder up in reverse. I have the same 23 ft (26 ft reach) and it’s truly a pain to work with and it’s dangerous if you don’t know what your doing. Also, the way you climb a ladder is grabbing the outside rail. The fact your climbing and descending the ladder grabbing each rung shows your inexperience on ladders.

These folding ladders are a bitch fully stretched. Tons of safety things in this video, but regardless yeah I have a 22 ft folding ladder like the little giant and while it’s great for other layouts maneuvering these extend is a pain in the ass. There is no pull string to stretch them and they are top heavy so trying to walk them up is tough. I stick with my good ole extension ladder for high jobs like this.

don't blame the ladder for your incompetency. you extended the ladder at both ends to the max before you rest against the wall. You should have stood the ladder verticle approx 5-8 away from the wall, then extend to height, and then lean the ladder slowly to the wall at approx 73 degrees correct angle. I would use the regular extension ladder "NOT the Little Giant A-frame type ladder" with a hinge joint (DANGER) in the middle for the height you trying to extend to. If you don't know this you have no business climbing the ladder. The ladder already flexing as you set up on the wall, imagine if someone tries to climb it with 150+lbs of weight? I ended viewing your vid at 2:30 cause was a waste of time watching.
