Kyu no she won’t. The next episode is Kazuya being a good guy and sending Chizuru on a date with Kuribiyashi. He pays her to go on the date and indirectly gives Kuribayshi reassurance that he isn’t the only ‘loser’ without a girlfriend and that they both rented.

*Remember this, Ruka is not his real girlfriend, she's a trial, but she's insisting that she is his real one. Her actions are not justified, as much as she likes him, there are certain things you shouldn't do. Love can't be forced. Also, Ruka is 17 and Kazuya is 21 atm (According to the wiki), so there are legal issues if he really did do something to her. HE DID THE RIGHT THING HERE. Ruka is way too immature by acting without thinking about the consequences.* 1) Ruka blackmails Kazuya into a relationship he doesn't want. 2) Ruka 'kidnaps' him to a love hotel and forces him to explain his personal issues. 3) Ruka invades his privacy by reading a message on his phone. 4) Ruka shows up uninvited and claims to be his girlfriend, creating a negative experience for Kazuya, Chizuru, and his entire family. *You all can say she's cute, but I don't like how she does things.She has no respect for him, his privacy, his personal space, and has zero respect for Chizuru too and looks down on her because she's a rental girlfriend. The situation with the grandmas is for them to work out, NOT Ruka's. But every character in this anime is flawed one way or another, so Chizuru and Kazuya has their issues as well. not just Ruka, so they all need to improve.*

Dude, if you don't get an answer, you first insist on it, then you treat it as a "no". Kazuya could be with Chizuru already if he were more upfront, or he could just give up on her and give Ruka an honest chance. I get that this is all intended(I wonder whether we'll get an actual "incelcore" genre), but really, this show is a 100% "How not to treat girls you like" guide

I was going to watch this anime but I can't stand this guy. Ruka is just perfect and for whoever knows what reasons, she actually likes him, yet he still prefer to pay a rental girlfriend losing money and losing the opportunity to have a REAL girlfriend. 🤦♂️ PD: Sorry my bad english.

Please tell me more how Ruka is a better person than Chizuru. Ruka is impulsive and treats Kazuya *worse* than Mami did. She has no respect for him, his privacy, his personal space, and has 0 respect for Chizuru too and looks down on her because she's a rental GF. The situation with the grandmas is for *Kazuya and Chizuru* to work out, NOT Ruka's. Yet somehow Kazuya's still the badguy for not having the super power of over analysizing hindsight.

@@animebro14 For your questions: 1. Chizuru always looked as that she was disgusted with Kazuya. 2. Despite how many times they helped each other, she always emphasized that their relationship are client and service provider. Not a friend, not a girlfriend, but a business transaction that is deeply emotionally exhausting and disturbing. 3. While stating that she desired for him to obtain a girlfriend, did little to help him by stressing any of his good points or tell to recognize his bad points. She told Kazuya to take Ruka as a trial girlfriend, but instead of helping their relationship, she made them worse by continue to be his rental and caused frictions with many of their mutual lies. 4. While Ruka is an immature trouble-maker to Kazuya, Chizuru is an unhealthy obssession. Ruka always looked for ways to improve their relationships no matter how stupid. Chizuru, on the other hand, keep him as an atm and show great hesitation in moving above that.

Kudos to Kazuya for ultimately resisting. Not sure if I would have had the same strength. It would have been really easy to give in and take advantage of this poor girl's desperation. Ruka has a good point that both Kazuya and Chizuru are being toxic keeping up this lie for so long. However, the way she inserts herself into his life without his consent via blackmail is also toxic, so she really has no right interfering with their personal problems. In a way, she is indeed being a pathological liar because she implicitly lied to his grandmother about the true genuinity of their bf/gf relationship. It's the way she repeated it multiple times to her without hesitation, signaling that she thinks they are in a committed relationship with equal affection from both sides, when this is clearly not the case. All three of them have baggage they each need to sort out. I know most people were disappointed in Kazuya this ep, but I gotta give him credit for not falling into temptation with Ruka in the hotel room. He did exactly what he should have done by fleeing the situation, given the consequences that could have ensued had he given in.
