About Waller-Bridge herself, I could't say, having gentry in her ancestry is not an indicator, but her parents do appear comfortable from their bios and she has had a somewhat privileged education, so it may be the case. Regarding this sketch, I wouldn't say they are ridiculing working class people, rather more a programme which hands picks them for viewers' amusement, turning them into circus animals. I doubt you grew up in a working class part of the UK speaking with a standard accent. Yes you have all classes of people in London, but the vast majority of people in London are working class and people of colour and the problem with British entertainment is the upper class and upper middle class people are over represented mainly because the TV executives and and commissioners tend to be from these groups and make all TV about their class. Love Island is the most racially and class diverse show on British mainstream TV so it comes across as extremely snobby that super posh Waller-Bridge looking down on the show, which is more representative of real Britain than her posh fantasy London
