We’re always trying to change our situations. We think changing jobs, changing relationships, or changing social circles will be the key to our happiness and fulfillment.
The truth is we can change all kinds of things about our external situations, but if we don’t do the work to learn and grow from where we are now, nothing changes. Our negative energy will just follow us from place to place.
