One of my favorite little details in this song is how at 1:28, if you listen closely to the instrumental, you can hear the opening guitar riff from Zato's XRD theme, "Black Blank Blah-Blah-Blah". It's such a small touch but every time I revisit this song it's a highlight for me.

I don’t think this song has much to do with “self love” Millia isn’t really the kind of person to care about that, I think it has to do with her getting past what happened to Zato, having to deal with emotion, something that a typical assassin shrugs off. The less-than-human self being Zato, whose been taken over by Eddie. Zato’s whole story is pretty messed up and Millia feels responsible for it.

Y'know, I wish this song have been played at ArcSys concert last week... especially considering both Aisha-san and Mr.Jamison were there; I think this is - without a doubt - one of the best song in Guilty Gear:Strive and just like, for video game music in general for the past few years!
