I would suggest you get the concert DVD, "Heavy Metal Never Dies". 2 hours, 18 songs, all amazing and amazingly performed. You could get 18 reactions out of it and you would never get bored. Their live performance of "Glory to the World" is note perfect.

I have to recommend 'Swan Song' live with the Chopin intro by Lovebites. Miyako, the guitarist on the right gets to showcase her amazing piano skills. She's been playing since she was a child and was on the path to being a professional concert pianist.

I love watching your reactions because you obviously read comments and have identified with the members of the band. Someone once described Lovebites as “Happy Metal”, and I’m always lifted by watching or listening to them. They are a musical breath of fresh air. Best band I’ve ever heard… and I’m old enough to have seen the classic metal bands live, often on their first tours. None of them, however great they became, have ever achieved the level of musicianship that these ladies have, nor did they have such a relentlessly consistent output of well written, arranged and performed songs.

No one knows why Miho left the group. There's some speculation, but until Miho, someone from LOVEBITES, or someone from JVC/Victor gives that reason, speculation is all it is. The song was written as response to the covid pandemic and the negativity it brought and still brings. Midori has a writing credit for the music and was inspired from her visits to black churches in the US and UK.

You can hear the Yngwie Malmsteen influence in their guitar solos. Yngwie was huge in Japan back in the day. His playing spawned so many amazing guitar players in Japan. This band is amazing. I had never heard of them before this video.
