There is no live of this. This Audio cover was a special press for their Best of DVD release last year. Lovebites nails this song really well no doubt.

Dean doesn't make custom guitars, but made an exception a built MIyako's to her specifications. There are two videos were Mikayo discusses her various guitars. The Thundergoddess Haruna on drums is only 145 cm tall (4 ft 9 in) She defintely has a lot of power in that small body.

This cover is absolutely phenomenal !! Big Shout-Out to the Wolfpack for sharing this with us (ty again CB !! ). I've listened to this cover side-by-side with the original more than a few time LOL, and this is bloody perfect. 👸ASAMI especially gave this her all and truly did this justice. 👸HARUNA 🥁⭐🏆 🤘🐺🤘

long time no see. not easy: amazing cover of one of the most iconic metalsongs🔥🔥🔥🔥 midori and miyako were just in a japanese tv show with marty friedman. they were smiling a lot and played some harmonies together. I don´t speak japanese, but it looked as if we see and hear something new of them soon.

To be fair BabyMetal played it in Medley form and tuned down a half step on 7 strings. But yeah the LoveBites version is picture perfect of the Entire song and its theme.

Agree Lovebites cover is much better than Babymetal's. However, Babymetal only practiced "Painkiller" twice with Halford. Originally, they were only doing "Breaking the Law" but added "Painkiller" a few days before the show. It was at an award ceremony with a dead audience.

Band Maid is coming to the US this October. Unfortunately, Lovebites is on a hiatus. Lovebites never toured in the US before. Only Europe and Singapore.

Aside from Asami’s actual voice, it is impossible to detect any real difference from the original. They’ve made a note for note copy of the metal National Anthem, and in itself it’s now a classic. When they return to the studio after their enforced hiatus I promise you they’re going to take next level to the next level. Best band in existence. Period. Love your reactions to them and I’ve missed them.

At the very end Midori changed it a bit and did her own ending to the song, but the rest was a perfect replication as you said.

@@TheCyberMantis much as I adore Lovebites and think that they are by far and away the best band currently in existence (for reasons above and beyond the music alone) I think the original is such a masterpiece that any cover, no matter how good, is just that. A cover. Put it this way, someone could attempt to copy my (current) favourite track “A Frozen Serenade”. They could make it note perfect, but it will never equal, let alone surpass Lovebites version.

The great thing about Lovebites is that you can feel "Lovebites" no matter what performance you listen to. Even if it's a cover ... Instead of just copying, there is a sound of lovebites firmly, and the goodness of lovebites is utilized. Furthermore, the playing skills of all of them are so good that even the cover is at the "other dimension" level. ラブバイツの素晴らしい所は、どの演奏を聴いても「ラブバイツらしさ」を感じる事です。それがカバーでさえも… ただコピーするのではなく、しっかりとラブバイツの音が有り、ラブバイツの良さが生かされています。更には、彼女たち全員の演奏スキルが非常に優れているので、カバーであっても「別次元」のレベルに有ります。

Hey Sonny. I don't see you around Lovebites recently. You'd better comeback if you are still in business. They released one CD album and two DVD albums with the new bassist this year already. And....they'll be playing in Atlanta in September 2024 but tickets are sold out anyway, but still a big chance for them to make a tour in the States. Let's wish upon a star to come to Cleaveland.

Unfortunately Lovebites are on a hiatus at the moment, so no tours planned. But both BAND-MAID and Nemophila are coming to the US this fall.

No shows for the near future, not sure if you are aware of Lovebites hiatus. Miho the bass player has left the band and we are all still patiently waiting to see if she returns or they choose a different bassist, so much has happened in your abscence and several original new songs have been put out. Hi Chad. To my taste, the vocal is No Game. Their voices are too different from each other, and they both are great in each style. I love Asami's natural tone which isn't standard metal but nice as music.

You should really try a bit of kindness in your life, you’ll be much happier and the world around you will look much better. I know you’re probably hurting and it’s ok to hurt, but hurt people don’t have to hurt people, they can also heal people. Choose to be better, it’s better for you and everyone else🙏
