She is a HUGE deal in Australia. The rest of the world NEEDS to get on board. 5 number 1 singles from her debut album ALONE. And plenty more where they come from. Awarded artist of the “Decade” in the 2000s. Hope to see a lot more Delta on this channel. 20 years of music gold for you to discover!

Heavy is an amazing track, just the piano, and her voice. Minimalistic but amazing. Another great song is "I lost my love for you"

@@Josh92SA actually Delta wanted to find success overseas that's why she moved to America many years ago to try her luck there, but sadly she couldn't break it into the US market because the American music industry is trash there, music producers in America wanted her to do things that she did not want to do, for Delta it was all about creating music & letting her talent but the selling point. But in America it's all about the sex appeal getting female singers to take off their clothes & sing highly sexualised lyrics & acting very sexual and wanting their bodies to be the main selling point. Delta did not want to do anything of that sleazy stuff so she moved back to Australia. Unlike most American singers, especially female singers, Delta's style is authentic, she's all about real authentic music and talent which sadly is not compatible with America's sleazy music scene. Although Delta was quite popular for a while during the early 2000s.

Heavy is an amazing song. Also a very different vibe. She also has 9 number 1 singles, 17 top 10 hits and 5 number on albums in Australia. She is also a great actor and as you said, pianist. She writes and produces her own songs and has said that she loves using real instruments to record and play with.

Her last Album 'Bridge Over Troubled Dreams' she recorded with live musicians. Such a great sound. Check out Paralyzed (and her story behind it), Solid Gold and Keep Climbing from it.

Heavy, dear life, born to try (she wrote this at 16), innocent eyes, no not me not I, out of the blue, mistaken identity, believe again, paralyzed , keep climbing, the power, dear Elton... there are so many more but these are my most played delta songs. All ranging throughout her career.

So great to see this reaction video. Love your analyse! Love that you appreciate Delta. I live in the Netherlands and have followed her since 2003. She is extremely versatile and talented. There are so many song suggestions. But I would really recommend you to watch and listen to her singing and playing live. Even more impressive than the videos.

It is so hard to pick just one favourite Delta Goodrem song! Definitely check out "Heavy" if you're enjoying this album. "I Lost all love 4 you" is another fave. Also love "The speed of life" and "Billionaire". You see what I mean, can't just pick one song!!!!!

Delta did this song live on the Voice and when that piano bit came in she broke into a bit of Beethoven. Live she makes this song more aggressive.

Love Delta.. she started out in the Aussie soap "Neighbours" just like Kylie Minogue. Where she played a up and coming singer.. which then helped promote her debut album in real life.. I fell in love with her debut album... amazing songs . She a proper pop star. Great review 👏

Millennials don't have a mortgage on the protest song, or the message song or these type of lyrics. These types of messages have always been in songs. There was a massive movement in the late 80s, early 90s of message songs to change things in the World. So, 30-40 years ago, this sort of message worked perfectly.

Delta has a phenomenal voice is a great lyricist and pianist. The production values of her music and videos is top. Do yourself a favour and listen to Heavy - unbelievable song. A cancer survivor and not too long ago a gutsy comeback from paralysis of a nerve in her tongue stopping her from even speaking. But she's back, big time. She's a great person too. You enjoy "big" music and Delta's music is exactly that.

Delta is a 100% pure artist. Check out her KZfaq or Instagram channel. During the pandemic, she did the bunker down sessions. Meaning she held mini live concerts from her channels every week. She performed original songs, covers, and much more with some of her fellow musicians. She is simply amazing. I like Dancing with a Broken Heart, Solid Gold, Keep Climbing, Feline, A Thing Called Love (she wrote for her brother’s wedding and from Wings of the Wild Album). Her most recent album is brilliant. Another great group to look at is the Corrs. True musicians that have been playing since they were little ones.They do a great cover of Fleetwood Mac’s Dreams. They even had the great Mick Fleetwood play with them at the Royal Albert Hall. If you can find that performance watch it BUT if you can find the live performance of Toss the Feathers from Lansdowne Road be amazed.
