Try "Goodbye to Love." Another sad song, but with a huge surprise in the middle. Solitaire, This Masquerade, Close to You, I Need to be in Love and a real different one: Calling Occupants of Interplanetary Craft. Big during the Star Wars days!

You've just entered the world of FABULOUS music! Nothing like the stuff you're being fed today, huh? This extremely talented sibling duo gives chills from the very first measure. Long live 70s music!!

Definitely Definitely check out the "sad version" of this song they just dropped. I personally like the "sad version" more (but I'm a depressed person so, makes sense) 😅

Yes, Yes and YES!!!! I had the honor of seeing Jennifer Holliday perform this in the early 80’s on Broadway when she was in the original cast; my uncle took me to see the matinee; we had no money so we were in the standing section; I will have that memory forever ❤❤. Afterward, I would belt this out in my room, now, I belt it out in the car 😂. So fortunate to grow up in NYC.

She's playing a ghost. The Emily Bronte novel of the same name, concerns 2 doomed lovers... Cathy and Heathcliffe. The former dies and haunts a grieving Heathcliffe. All set in the desolation of the Yorkshire moors, which only adds to eerie vibe

They are Australian. That explains why most of the world doesn't know their greatness. Australian artists are generally underrated.

2:58 the man is smaller than the woman, or at least it seems that way bcs of her hairstyle and her shoes. he can't do anything about it with the fashion for men in late 50s. So he's taking it out on his son, seeing the son's "failure" to grow physically as his own failure.

It’s too bad country radio all but abandoned this album after Faith admitted it wasn’t just a country album. This song was flying up the charts then stopped immediately at #12. And no other song from the album got much play from country radio. Not even the amazing When The Lights Go Down. I’m glad Faith got recognized at the Grammys for this. Faith eventually bounced back with her next country-laden album Fireflies.

I hate when ppl, that I perceived to be intelligent, bring up age or era as an excuse. "the production is phenomenal, especially for the 80's " what do think they used ? two tin cans and a string.

Michael's vocals are flashy...Janet is a harmonic genius, her technical abilities should never be underestimated. She has shown us before that she can do a big vocal if she wants to ('Bkack Cat', anyone?) 😉👍 but her technical prowess allows her to be subtle, and subtlety is a touch that not everybody can pull off. 👏
