Grigor Dimitrov Indian Wells 2019 took a turn for the worst as he injured himself during practice and was forced to withdraw from the tournament. Here you can see the Dimitrov practice session that caused the injury. It feels like he is hitting full power on many of the shots which could have contributed to his shoulder injury. With such a similar technique to Roger Federer, who has been quite fortunate in avoiding serious injuries throughout his career compared to Rafael Nadal, Novak Djkokovic and Andy Murray, it is surprising to see that Dimitrov has suffered so much with his shoulder, could it be a physical conditioning issue or simply bad luck?

Yes we know but what caused it? bad technique? overworking? bad luck?

Dimitrov played with this shoulder injury at AO'2019. Since then he missed all tournaments and hasn't played a single match. He said he feels the same pain, and withdrawn from IW.

lack of physical training, he´s too skinny, got to work on his upper body muscles.

Great upload! Thanks man! How come Dimitrov is not hugging the baseline and hitting balls on the rise like Agassi. Isn't that the point why Agassi is there for? Also, mental toughness, power nor speed have never been an issue with Dimitrov, it's his accuracy (hitting acute angles on the run or in neutral rallies), shot selection, tempo and game management that need work.

I mean he hasn't played one single match since Australian open. It couldn't be just something happened in one practice session. He got that shoulder injury for quite a while. And it's something he has been carrying for a long time. It's just that it haven't been this serious until now.
